About this item

  • Perfect Function: The high-quality aerator can reduce soil compaction and dethatching your lawn while letting air, water and fertilizer get down to the roots zone of your yard. The build-up of lawn thatch inhibits the breath of the lawn and using this tool your lawn and turf will grow finer.
  • Ingenious Design: Our manual lawn aerator with foot bar provides an extra leverage. The “T” BAR handle is convenient to grip and provides a more comfortable stance while aerating. And the foot bar leverage can greatly reduce your back stain. The tool is much effort-saving and can make your garden work more effective.
  • Deeper Soil Penetration: Utilizing the foot bar on our lawn aerator tool will ensure deeper turf aerification, creating soil cores, on average, as deep as your index finger. This lawn tool does not clog. The soil cores can eject smoothly and will not break. The tool is designed to work on any type of turf.
  • Firm Construction: Our lawn aerator tool is quite sturdy. The material is from heavy-duty yet light steel. The sturdily welded tubes and bars are guaranteed a long-term use. Also, the color will make it easy to find on greensward.
  • Excellent Customer Support: Our product provides a one-year quality assurance and pursue 100% customer satisfaction. Rest assured that it would improve your lawn heath. If you have any questions and other problems with this product, please contact us.

This aerator works quite well, but will plug when mudding conditions. It takes a lot of work, but gets the job done. I like the design. It's pretty easy to step-and-pull.

This device works well for about five plugs then the tubes get clogged. You have to dig the dirt out with a screwdriver to unclog.

The Walensee Lawn Coring Aerator is a game-changer for my lawn. It’s easy to use, even though it’s manual, and it really helps loosen up the soil. You can feel the difference in the grass afterward – looks healthier and grows better. The build is sturdy, and it punches nice, clean plugs. If you’re serious about your lawn, this tool is worth it.Quick and effective!

Je l'utilise chaque année pour l'entretien annuel de mon gazon. Une valeur sûr pour l'aération (carottage).

It only took about 40 minutes to aerate my front lawn which measures 25 X 35 feet. The earth was quite moist so the plugs were not ejected as they should have been. Needed to use a screwdriver to empty the tines but still it did a good job. At 31$, you can't go wrong and it's much cheaper than renting a motorized aerator or having it done professionally. Yes, I recommend it.

I needed to aerate the front yard but because we had such a wet spring, I didn’t want to use one of the heavy machines. We have a new build with terrible soil so our sod was looking very rough in several areas. Our front yard is a decent size for a suburban area but it didn’t take me very long (maybe an hour and a half) to fully aerate the entire yard. I think having wet ground is essential to getting it done quickly though so make sure to water if you don’t have the good fortune of a recent rainstorm. I had a similar product at a previous house and it was much more difficult to use, less stable, and it didn’t have as much space for my foot. I’m a petite woman (5’4”) and this worked very well for me. It might not be as comfortable for my 6’3” husband to use because he would have to lean over further than me. This is very sturdy and the slightly pointed shape of the corer end is very effective. I had to stop to unclog it a couple times but even that was a fairly simple process. I really agonized over the reviews when I made this purchase so hope this is helpful for others like me that tend to overthink their purchases.

I purchased this manual aerator after a local lawn company said I needed aeration to the tune of $258. We had an aerator attachment for a Stilh Yard Boss, but it did not do the plugs. "Wally" is very well made. Our yard is a 1/2 acre lot and in an older neighborhood where people do not overly care for their yards. Our yard was very compacted. You really do need to use it when the yard is at least damp. In my better grass, I moved along fairly quickly. In the problem areas, it required a little more effort. The prongs will clog up as many have said. I didn't let that bother or stop me. I have perfect holes all over the yard. But if you need to see that actual plug come up through the top, it might aggravate you. For me, it was under $50 and a little exercise. Even one of my golden retrievers enjoyed bouncing all around me as I made my way through the yard. I would recommend if you have the time, a little muscle and you treat it as an exercise.

I got my coring tool. Out of the box, construction was good. Took it right out to the yard and started coring - worked like a charm...for about 20 minutes. Then I had a constipated tool. I cleaned it out and sprayed it with lubricant (added to the problem) - nada. Could not get it to take a single plug after a stellar start. After perusing some blogs on the tool and clogging problems here is what I found. 1) You MAY have a defective tool - the welds at the top of the tube (what you see as you look down) may extend over the opening and cause clogging - send it back or get a file and round off the obstruction. 2) As the maker says in their instructions - "The soil has to be wet, but not too wet. You'll have to figure that one out. 3) Here is what I finally discovered that solved the problem for me - as you core wet ground, the tool seems to work well. After a few cores the tube just refuses to pass soil. What I found is that if the soil is too wet, the moisture in the tube forms a suction inside the tube and , like quicksand, it holds soil in to the sides of the tube and will not releaase the core for passage. I took the tool cleaned it out and passed some cloth patches down the tube until it was dry and voila - smooth as ice again - For a considerable time before I had to do it again. This goes back to the instruction, "Soil must be wet but not too wet." It's an imperfect situation. Bottom line, as long as the soil is the right degree of wet - it's a winner. I find that early in the morning, before iet gets hot, is the best time to core. Good luck!

Works great if you have good soil base under your grass. You have to deep water 4-5 inches prior to using the tool to Insure that the plugs self extract from the tool. Dry, clay, rocky soil seems to clog frequently. My yard was constantly clogging the tool as it’s just a regular yard with normal soil, not professional lawn soil/loam under the grass. Should work fine to get small spots to absorb water and not run off, doing a small yard would take hours.
