The adaptor is firmly stuck in place and does not work at all for a sloped ceiling. I tried contacting customer support but have been ignored. Do not waste your money.

After buying a semi flush mount light fixture because it was described as "Sloped Ceiling Adaptable" we found that it was not, and despite it being very difficult to find the information, the 1/2" width threaded opening of this swiveled adapter was the correct size to attach to the light fixture canopy. It allowed us to keep the fixture and make it work, so happy that it worked, although the manufacturer may have only intended it to work with their track lighting. Seems adapters like this should be easier to find.

Product did not have any speculations describing the outside or inside diameters. Didn’t fit what I had and had to be returned.Also found the same product at fully 1/3 the price elsewhere. Advise you shop it around first!

Bought this item to install some track lighting on a sloped ceiling. It took some time to figure out how to apply this product specific to my project; but, it was the key item that made my track lights to hang nicely level. Some miscellaneous brass adapters and pieces from a secondary kit and a little retrofitting, however, was necessary for me to make this work for me. This item may not work for everyone but worth a try. Item is also a lot smaller than it looks.

The specs for the thread dimension are not in the description. I waited a week to receive and it does not fit my light. Now I have to find something else and this company does not offer different sizes. Complete waste of time.

This adapter made the different of being able to use a light fixture I fell in love with or just some run of the mill light. Watch you are purchasing the correct size though.

This appears to be a very well made product, however, anyone looking to purchase it should has 1/2" threads, not the typical electrical and fixture outlet 3/8" threads. Make sure you outlet takes 1/2" threads before buying.

We needed the option of a smaller suspension or simply only having the sloped ceiling adaptor connected between the canopy plate and the track, but the track bracket won't directly attach to the adaptor, so this didn't work in our case.
