This Vortex ring works better than advertised. First round out I air fried chicken wings, they were perfect. I’ve seen temperatures in my kettle up to 650 using briquettes. I can’t wait to sear some steaks with some lump charcoal. I’m looking forward to a low and slow as well. It certainly directs heat very well inside my grill.

Superb build quality. Looking for something to enhance grilling wings. It works extremely well. Produces high heat, gets wings crispy and perfectly cooked. Well worth the money, will be buying more for my Weber buddies.

I was hesitant and thought it might be another trinket that did nothing special. Well, it works and now I don't grill anything without it. It allows for both indirect and direct grilling and works perfectly. I have suggested this to my friends that grilling with charcoal. Definitely recommend.

Tried it out twice chicken wings were great and it helped me searing my steaks since I went to straight charcoal and do not use a gas grill anymore.

I bought this Vortex for my Weber 22" kettle grill a few years ago and it has been pumping out the best, most delicious and crispiest chicken wings I've ever had. Fresh or frozen you'll have perfect wings in 10-15 minutes. It works so well that I managed to find another (used) Weber grill and ordered a second vortex for cooking for larger groups. Now I'm thinking about setting up a road side stand selling wings... Maybe not but a man can dream. BTW it's MADE IN THE USA. Don't be fooled by knock offs. My original Vortex is from 2019 and is still in perfect condition.

Just received my vortex today amd put it to use right away. I had wings in buttermilk and pickle juice awaiting its arrival lol. I was able to keep my kettle at a steady 550° using 3/4 of the vortex filled with lump charcoal, vents wide open. Took about 20 mins to cook to a crispy perfection. Very happy with my first cook. Can't believe that I waited so long to grab one of these. If you're on the fence about grabbing one for yourself, just go ahead and do it. You will not regret it!

Tried cooking with chicken on a vortex. It provides and scatters the heat on the kettle. It also makes the coal inside very hard to put out. you should have a water spritz ready when usung this because if you put some oil basting, it it could set the whole kettle on fire and even closing the lid does not put our the fire. So it is really good at retaining heat on the kettle, you just have to be careful when using it.

Glad it is stainless steel and it has performed over a year and has held up to very hot grilling as well as slow and long smoking in the same grill. Worth every penny and a stroke of ingenuity. Nothing has ever cooked chicken wings so easy.

Still have a learning process on getting my wings "right" for crispy skin. Increasing time by 10 minutes- that should do it. Love the flavor...love the simplicity of this process. MUCH better results than I can get on a smoker - Traeger or Weber Smokey Mountain.

No esperes que sea tan bonito y que llame la atención como el vortex de weber, pero que crees... vale la mitad y no te importara si se va quemando.De hecho preferí no usar el weber para que no se quemara y compre este :)
