Purchased for family member with dementia who had begun getting up at night. Works perfectly! Can clip it just out of reach. Doesn't intrude on sleep or comfort. Sounds off mind enough for caregiver to hear and patient to stop behavior. Small enough to be discreet and portable. Battery life is long. Very easy to use.

I want to love this and it has great reviews but I have searched for an hour and canāt figure out how to get the standby light to stop flashing - flashing - flashing⦠Especially for bedtime monitoring, it is REALLY annoying.Tell me how to get it to stop flashing and I will change review.I notice this item says it is frequently returned but there are only positive reviews and I donāt see a place to contact anyone with questions.

Got this for my Mom who kept trying to stand up out of her wheelchair and falling. It's loud enough that I can hear it from the other room and easy to reset when I forget to take it off before taking her to the bathroom.Tip: remove the magnet and hit reset when you aren't using it to save the battery life, otherwise the light continuously blinks.

I'll be honest up front, this was a white elephant gift for older people and it works great for that. The quality of the alarm is good not great, mainly plastic. It functions as it should and is an affordable option to provide some sens eof security.

This is a snap to install. First, insert the included battery into the monitor portion. Second, attach the monitor portion to the bed, chair, wall, etc. There are several mounting options. Third, attach the magnet to the front of the monitor. Fourth, attach the magnetic portion to the patient. When the patient stands up or moves, the magnetic connection breaks, which causes the unit to alarm. And, the alarm is LOUD.Works great.

This takes 9 volt batteries. That adds an expense to ongoing use of this, and I'm not happy with how hard it is to get the batteries in and out - I couldn't do it at all and had to get help because the battery compartment is so tight. Once you get the battery in it it works well. The lead is held on with a magnetic connector and when it's pulled off you can choose to either have loud or soft music or alarm. The music plays it's a small small world. The alarm is very obnoxious and I'm loud will wake my whole house up.It has a reset button, that turns the alarm off and reset it if you want. I like that it has a low battery light indicator and that you can turn it completely off at times. You used to reset button to do that because there's no on and off switch but it's easy to do. It's very intuitive to figure out it's operation and use. My little dementia man is too constantly up down up down up down to really use this, but it comes in handy when he does sleep and I'm so tired that I KNOW I am going to nap too.
