The combination of 3-IR sensors protected behind polycarbonate allow the Spire IR² to feed proactively, rather than reactively like traditional IR sensors. This ensures a constant stream of paint that never fails you on the field, rain or shine.
The Spire drive system allows the Spire IR to feed faster and more consistently while still being able to feed the worst paintballs imaginable without jamming. Improved sensors remove unnecessary pulsing and create a quieter, more efficient loader.
With durability in mind, the new nylon back shell gives every player peace of mind. Now the back shell is made of the same material as the body of the loader to ensure ultimate longevity.
Spire IR² Upgrades - Sold Separately
The Spire IR’s redesigned quick change lid can be fitted with the updated Spire III CrownSF II in seconds. Not only can you swap back and forth from a lid to a speed feed in seconds, but you can now remove and clean each individual finger just as easily. Each spring finger offers the ultimate combination of feeding performance, paint retention, and sag-proof reliability.
The VIRTUE N-Charge is an easy to install rechargeable battery pack providing better performance over traditional AA batteries in a lightweight package. Never buy batteries again thanks to the easy USB charging port. Recharge on the fly using your phone charger, laptop, or external battery pack. Never wonder again if your AA batteries have enough juice to get you through the next game. With the N-Charge, simply press the built-in battery indicator button and get an immediate report on how much power you have left.
The original Spire Spring Ramp is still compatible with the Spire IR², and will ramp those last few balls back into the feeding raceway when you shoot long strings at odd angles.

The speed is on point, good quality build I had no jams, super quiet while feeding and in my opinion, best value for a mid range hopper.

At first when I went to go play with this hopper it actually messed up to where I had to contact the company. They responded right away and took the defective one back and gave me a new one. The new one works amazing and haven’t had any issues

The Spire IR is everything you would want in a hopper. It is light weight, fast, never jams, and super easy to take apart. This package comes with 2 of the most important "add ons" as well: the speedfeed and ramp. Super simple installation of these as well. Virtue made an amazing hopper that is very affordable. Get one.

Used it once. Didn't jam all day. Would be nice to have a larger capacity but it has a nice lower profile. Speed feed is super easy to change. I originally thought it was like an old school rotor and they sent the wrong speed feed but when I called in they explained how to do it. At which point I felt like an idiot.

Virtue feeders are the standard and used by professionals. This is a reasonably affordable yet high quality product that is extremely fast and reliable. I recommend this when paired with a quality paintball marker.

I've only used this for one full day and did a full cleaning on it. So far, it's super easy to use (one button for on/off) and to swap out the ramp and speed feed. I left the original cover at home and got stuck using a speed feed in light rain and the thing performed perfectly, no jams, stalls, or issues whatsoever.Cleaning was a piece of cake, the tool-less disassembly is easy and all the parts are easily accessible to clean. Love this thing and was a major upgrade from my couple empire halos I've had previously.
