I recently purchased the Vantrue N2X after reading great reviews about it. I started driving Uber and Lyft for extra income, and a dash-cam was necessary for the safety of myself and my passengers. This is the perfect camera for those looking for an affordable and user-friendly camera that records the action on the road ahead and inside the car. The inside-facing camera can also catch traffic action behind the car. The set-up was easy and the phone app works really well. One feature I really like is the simple one-button record that saves a critical event. This lets you quickly save an accident or illegal activity with the push of the main power button, which saves it onto a seperate file. I also like that it saves high quality audio along with the video. I do recommend the polarizing filter, which enhances the image quality and reduces glare. Great camera for a great price.

I initially had a “slow card” error with a high-speed Samsung 512GB SD card. Vantrue’s quick and helpful support sent me a 256GB Vantrue SD card, which has worked perfectly with no errors.The N2X is clearly optimized for Vantrue SD cards, so I’d recommend using one from the start. Great camera and excellent customer service!

It performs as described, and the installation was easy. A nice dash cam for the price. One thing to note: while it uses USB-C for input, it requires a USB-A to USB-C cable to connect to external batteries, laptop, etc. It wouldn’t work if you try a USB-C to USB-C cable.

First off, shipping was quick. It comes in a nice sturdy box in order to keep everything from being damaged.I already own a dash cam from Vantrue and love it, so I decided to get another newer model for my Motorhome.This model is a front and inside dash cam and was easy to setup. It even now supports LTE connection.They have also improved the software and the easiness of how it connects in comparison to my older dash cam. The software contains a multitude of features and settings.Connecting to 5G wifi is now a breeze. I like how you can now get over the air upgrades.Being able to use up to a 512GB SD card is also nice.Video quality is impressive and can also be lowered if more memory space is needed. Also has really good night vision.I tried the voice activation software and so far it seems to respond really well.Parking mode will be very useful when I’m away from the motorhome and gone site seeing.Vantrue so far have been great to deal with and I find their customer support has been superior than most other companies out there.So far I’m loving my purchase and looking forward to some beautiful road trips with the safety of this dash cam.

This is my second Vantrue Dash Cam after purchasing the N4 for my son's vehicle two years ago. Six months after purchasing the N4, it was crucial proof of the vehicle being hit by another driver that saved us the $1K insurance deductible. Decided to purchase the N2X for my 2nd vehicle and glad to see the improvements with the Wifi and App compatibility. Rather than hardwire the N2X, I decided to install it myself and ran the cabling utilizing the included tool which was relatively easier than expected. The photo and video quality are some of the best on the market, having the dual HDR cameras makes a big difference in the quality of the images. The ease of transferring videos and pics via the Vantrue app was a nice upgrade from the N4.My girlfriend also just purchased the Vantrue Element E3 which she is very pleased with. We are a Vantrue family and I can't recommend their products enough to friends and family! Thank you Vantrue for making reliable, feature-rich products

Purchased this camera last week. So far, quality has been great. I changed from a 4k camera with a much worse sensor. So even though this is 2.7k rather than 4k, the picture quality is better because the sensor is better. I can finally read license plates.Things I've noticed compared to other cameras:-Really great picture quality-UI is fast and easy to use-You can have the screen automatically turn off so it isn't distracting-Android app works well and download happens fairly quick over 5ghz. It allows you to download multiple videos at a time.-There is a Windows program that lets you play video and show the GPS/map too.-So far, seems to be very reliable with videoCons:- USB-C that is on the mounting bracket is not fully USB-C compliant. It won't work with usb-C PD power. You have to either use the built-in lighter adapter or another adapter with a USB-A socket and a USB-a to USB-C cable. The usb-c- on the side of the camera, which is supposed to be for PC hookup, does work with usb-C PD though. (Workaround).-the included lighter adapter wouldn't work in my car (Mercedes GLK). It worked in my wife's car though. So the adapter works, just maybe doesn't fit right with my car.Otherwise a great camera. I ended up powering the camera from a usb-C PD socket in my car using the usb-C socket on the side of the camera, rather than the DC Input on the mounting bracket.Would recommend!
