i use these for my rented college books. they are not sticky enough to rip the paper when removing but some of the colors are not transparent enough to see through

I have to use a rented script for a production im in and therfore couldn't highlight. This stuff works amazing, it sticks and stays stuck but is also super easy to remove, you can easily see thru it as well. 10/10 would recomend!! :)

While yes, some are a bit darker this is a great alternative to highlighting in books. They peel off without ANY damage.

I've been trying to find an alternative to using a permanent highlighter in one of my books. This seemed (in theory) like it would be perfect. The rolls would allow me to cut whatever size I needed so there wouldn't be any waste. Plus it's removable, so there's no damage to the book. Unfortunately, they are not transparent enough to actually be able to read the text that you're trying to highlight.

I thought this product was an ingenious idea. I’ve rented my textbooks this semester so I thought being able to mark in them without leaving any actual marks would be great. It was better as an idea than in practice. Some of the colors barely showed up at all and instead just made my text look cloudy. It was also hard to cut the tape to the correct length each time. I also didn’t like how wide the tape was. It was too wide to highlight in the books I was reading in. It got the job done but it was overly complicated and not really worth the effort. The tape also didn’t stick very well which was disappointing. Highlighter tape still seems like a great idea but I don’t live this execution of it.
