I got this for electronics work. The stand isn't usable for me, but the quality is *far* more than I need. It can zoom in extremely close and provides clear images. I had to retrofit the ball mount into another stand that allows me to move it around the helping hands or vise I'm using. To be clear, when looking at my mousepads I can see the individual fabric stitches and they look like the Grand Canyon, and you can see tiny particles inside that I can't see with my eyes whatsoever.

I am actually impressed. Out of all the devices I have, the chromebook takes the win for ease of connectivity. Just plug this in and it acts as if it's another camera. Brilliant

Zu allererstmal kann man hier nicht die allerfeinste ware erwarten! Man bekommt halt das was man kauft für den preis und für den preis ist das mikroskop sehr gut! Man braucht nicht einmal die software man kann nähmlich auch einfach die kamera app nutzen die bei windows vorinstalliert ist außerdem wurden bei mir die treiber automatisch installiert man braucht nicht mal einen pc! Es reicht auch ein ios oder android vorausgesetzt man hat ein lightning zu usb a otg adapter (Für iphone) da nur ein usb c otg adapter bei mir dabei war. aber der Preis ist meinermeinung nach gut. Man kann natürlich kein profimikroskop benutzen deswegen wer eine perfekte bildqualität usw. will muss tiefer in die tasche greifen auch finde ich es ein bischen dreißt vom verkäufer 1000x dranzuschrauben wenn es in wirklichkeit c.a nur 100x sind aber alles gut ist trozdem gut fürs hobby. Ich würds aufjedenfall wieder kaufen. Kleiner Tipp: Wer lötet und mehr geld ausgeben möchte dem würde ich die lcd varianten raten da muss man nicht immer zum pc oder handy hochschauen. Nur ein kleiner tip für alle die nicht viel ausgeben möchten ist das hier ein perfektes Mikroskop!

Do I think this thing is capable of 1000x magnification? Definitely not. It is very cool for what you can see and I think for the money you get what you pay for. The stand does not really help because it's so limited on movement and angle. It seems to only have 2-3 spots where magnification is clear enough to see anything. At the highest magnification you have to have a steady hand because you have to slowly raise it away from what you are trying to focus on. For general use or showing kids the cool world of magnification as an introduction it definitely serves a purpose. If you are hoping to see much more than what my pics show than I would look into more traditional microscopes as I will be doing for my nephew. He will think this is cool but I want him to be able to see MORE.Pics are of gray leggings with gold flecks, finger tip, blue cloth at the 2 magnifications I could get, grain of salt and a piece of hair again with the only 2 good magnifications I could get.

This microscope is worth much more than the price charged. You aren't going to see blood corpuscles enlarged or water parameciums, but here is plenty of other uses that makes it worth the price. I have used it to view print that was too small to read. I have used it to better look at a sore on one of my toes to see what was going on there. We had a couple of "bugs" that we had never seen before on the garage floor and was able to get a remarkable view of them with this scope (see photo). With the naked eye, this bug with the feet looks only like a tiny black dot!! Setup is a little involved since I could not get the drivers by using the CD enclosed or the scan pattern. I simply download them through the internet. You can have it work through your computer or mobile smart phone, so you can take it anywhere. The LED lights at the end are very bright to give enough light to view the subject easily. You can also take photos of the subject and video as well. Excellent product for the price.
