After testing this product extensively, I encountered several performance issues worth noting. The processing speed falls notably below the advertised specifications. While the basic functionality remains intact, the system operates at a considerably slower pace than expected. A recurring connectivity issue manifests through "NO INTERNET" error messages, despite having a stable internet connection. These interruptions significantly impact the user experience and workflow efficiency.

I recently bought a new laptop only to discover that they are now leaving off a LAN/RJ45 port. As I don’t always like connecting via WiFi, I ordered this to give me the connection I want. It is plug-n-play (do they still say that) and no downloads are needed. It plugged right in and worked right away. There seems to be no impact to my speeds. Now I need to order a USB splitter. Between this LAN adapter, the keyboard/mouse dongle, the occasional DVD drive or number pad, I’m going to run out of USB ports.

This is made of quality materials with an aluminum case and USB-C plug. I plugged my ethernet cable into the adapter, connected it to my Windows 11 PC, and it was instantly recognized by the computer. I ran a couple of speed tests and got the same speeds as through my PC’s native ethernet port. Also works great with my laptop that does not have an ethernet port.
