This thing is a game changer. I recently got 2 quotes from 2 different main stream tire shops and was quoted $1,100 from one and 1,200 from another on a set of all four tires. I was able to order tires on Amazon and did the job myself for under $500 minus the extra cost of balancing. The product worked as described with very little physical effort and didn't take much time to get the job done.

This was a great addition to my HF tire mounting stand. If you understand the tire mounting process you can easily remove and mount a new set of tires. Make sure to use a good lubricant and keep the tire in the smallest section of the rim.Used this on a set of 225/60-R17 with no problems. Didn't leave a scratch or mark on the aluminum rims. Might be more challenging with a lower profile tire, but should be doable with a little patience.

The support that allows for horizontal and vertical adjustments have adjustment handles, these need to be offset from each other. If not the the handle can't fully turn as the bar is in the way.Although still functional, for the price paid this should have been caught before shipping. Makes me wonder if Amazon is selling items that don't pass inspections. Disappointed in this products quality.

As you can see from the photos the welds are just horrible. Broke on the first use. These were tightened by hand but broke because of tension when the machine was used for the first time.

I’m gonna go ahead and give this an acceptable review as a value option…Raw materials are suitable (steel thickness of tubing)The duckbill seems durable…(molded poly~)No instructions nor illustrations included…But not rocket science to assemble…Hardware required is 2x 14mm wrench…Hardware absent 2x 5/16 lock washers (or whatever mm nylocks imo)…Weld quality… less than desirable, but at least the mats are suitable for repair should any welds pop…Paint quality… less than desirable, if they didn’t want to spend enough for durable paint they should have put more into welds and or oversized material with a more practical durable powder coating, but as it is it looks fine.Nit picky review, but I do expect this to last until forever so it’s a good enough quality for low cost option!

This item should cost less. Fabrication is pretty basic, anyone could make one at home. This attachement is more expensive than the machine it fits on!

Finally a version of this that I found affordable. Wish I had gotten it sooner. Removed tires from 4 trailer rims easy, then changed a tire on an aluminum rim. Works great. The hold down bolt handles seem to be metal and have a spring loaded retention so the handle can be re-positioned without changing the tension. Seems plenty sturdy.I do wish they placed the tension handle for the duckbill rod to the side, as it sticks out a bit in the path of the tire iron but I notice from other reviews when they had it there people were complaining about the handle not clearing - apparently they didn't know you can reposition it with the spring loaded handle. Guess I could just drill a hole and weld a nut on the side if I really want to.Centering cone works well on aluminum rims. I did need to add a PVC spacer to jack up the arm so it would clear the tire when resting on top of the rim at the beginning or end of the process, but that seems to be a common thing.Really glad to have found an affordable version of this. Boy, what a huge difference, really happy to have this in the garage now.
