Q: Does it work with AT&T/T-Mobile/Verizon cards?
A: Yes. but if it is not IoT SIM card, ordinary phone SIM card needs to carry out the following
T-mobile: some need to set up APN, still can't network need to set up special AT command.
Verizon: need to change IMEI number; slow network speed need to change TTL; still can't connect to the Internet need to set up special AT commands. AT&T's SIM card is the same. This step is required, many customers can't get on the internet because they didn't set the APN/IMEI.
(APN can be found on the carrier's website, IMEI can be copied from the phone, TTL/AT command can be consulted seller.)
Q: What is the latest version of the firmware? How do I get the latest version of the firmware?
A: The latest version of the firmware is 2.2.2. If this is exactly the version, no update is needed. The products are all the latest from the factory, never used. The original version was relatively more stable. We fully accept the suggestions from our customers and the firmware of products are now upgraded to the latest version batch by batch. If you receive the old version, no matter, leave a message, the seller will send the new version to you. Or download the latest firmware from UOTEK official website.
Q: Does it support setting APN/IMEI/TTL/VPN/IPV6 for particular carriers?
A: All support.
Q: What is the size of the inserted card?
A: Nano SIM card, 12*9mm.

Usage Steps -- Please check carefully!
Insert SIM card to use
1. Connect the antennas one by one according to the text on the holes of the router.
2. Insert the SIM card first, and then plug in the power supply, as hot-plugging is not supported.
3. Enter the default WiFi password and make sure your smartphone or computer is connected to WiFi: 5G_CPE.
4. Enter the default URL in the browser and SET THE APN according to the carrier of your SIM card. Some carriers may require THE IMEI to be set the same as your phone/tablet.
5. If no other settings are required, you can access the Internet normally.
Connecting to the network cable for use
As a normal router, plug the network cable into the blue WAN port. Then you can connect to WiFi.

Comes with the X62 chip and not the X55 like one reviewer said. There may have been older ones that had the X55 chip, but not now. Mine came with latest firmware 2.2.2 and worked without any problems. It was faster than the stock modem I was using before, but that could just be because I can now lock onto bands rather than the modem picking them for you.

It works pretty well out of the box. But after I installed Rooter Goldenorb is when it's really been a solid router. I get much better speeds than I did on the carrier router. I had the Arcadyan. I never seem to lose connection now. It's surprisingly great for the price.

Do not doubt this device. It works perfectly. The speeds are on par with my old trash can modem from the "magenta" company lol. It even allows you to modify the IMEI so in the magenta company's eyes I'm using an old 5G phone. If you're on the fence about buying it, don't. I've tried them all and this is by far the best especially considering the price. I've got it in a cabinet above my refrigerator and the speed is excellent. I'm sure you could up the speed by putting it in a window with an upgraded antenna. But its excellent just the way it is.

I choose to buy the product because it was advertised as a 5G , WiFi6 router with a X62 chipset that would work with a T-Mobile SIMM card and had 2 RJ45 LAN ports. The price was VERY competitive. I have not been dissappointed.Shipping was surprisingly fast.Out of the box, it picked up the local 5G signal and I was quickly surfing the Internet on my IPhone and laptop.The GUI is familiar and not hard to navigate and understand.I connnected to it via my local wireless network without any issues and also used a LAN port with success.Like I did, you will likely need to contact UoTek support to get the latest firmware file sent to you via email attachment. I put the firmware file on my laptop, connected to the router via one of the LAN ports, navigated to the upgrade menu on the router's GUI menu, browsed to the firmware file and clicked on the upgrade button. The file installed, the router rebooted and all was well.Very pleased with my purchase so far. At this point it, based on my few days of experience and the sturdiness of its construction, I beleive it will work reliably for a long time.

I purchased 2 different GL.iNet GL-X3000 (Spitz AX) routers. Based on the reviews I was expecting something good. The first router failed after 2 days. The second was DOA. So, I purchase the UOTEK 5G SIM Card Router CPE with some trepidation. This morning I set it up, inserted the the T-Mobile SIM card and plugged it in. I was immediately connected to the Internet. The Wifi is really strong. The speeds were significantly faster than the Arcadyan gateway supplied by T-Mobile. The connection is stronger and more consistent than the Arcadyan gateway. The RSRP and SINR was better and the RSRQ (-10Dbm) was about he same as the Arcadyan gateway.The software is pretty basic but adequate. The instructions that came with the UOTEK 5G SIM Card Router CPE left a lot to be desired. I could not find information telling the address (192.168.100.1) or what the login password (admin) is with the included instructions.I am happy with this UOTEK 5G SIM Card Router CPE. I live in an area where it is very difficult to receive a cellular signal. There are 2 cell towers up the hill less than a mile away, but I cannot receive a signal from either tower. The only cell towers I can get signals from are northwest (5g) and northeast (4g) and because houses and trees block most of the signals from both towers the best signal I get is in a corner space about 3 feet high and 2 feet wide. in spite of the challenges, I am now getting about 200 mbs consistently with the UOTEK 5G SIM Card Router CPE.I find that moving any modem/router more than 1/4" changes the reception a lot. I use the software interface with 5G Info menu with the SNIR reading to get the best reception location.I would rate the router at 5, the software at 4 and the instructions at 1.Update: I had a T-Mobile outage. Not being sure it was due to the Uotek, I replaced it with my Arcayan gateway. When that did not resolve the problem I removed the SIM card and somehow managed to lose it. so I went to the T-Mobile store to get a replacement SIM card. Well, the replacement SIM did not work in the gateway. So I ended up taking home a Sagecomm gateway. Turns out it was faster than the Arcadyan gateway. So I checked it against the Uotek modem/router. The Uotek still had better reception values and was slightly faster than the Sagecomm until I changed the setting on the Uotek, changing it from NSA to SA. After the change I was getting channels n41 primary and N25 secondary. The Ping went form 29-37 to 15-25 and the download speeds were about 20-30 mbs faster that the Sagecomm. The Uotek RSRP is -84dbm vs. -97dbm for the Sagecomm. The RSRQ is -10dbm vs. -14dbm for the Sagecomm.

So to start with, the firmware or OS on this is complete garbage. Anytime I make a configuration change in the gateway to lock bands or change DNS to manual, I lose my IP permanently with the carrier and have to perform a factory reset. I've emailed, called, and whatsapped their support at least 10 times and haven't heard anything back.I bought mine "new" but the product looked very much used and the way the device behaved stopped sending packets back m. That's after a simple reboot to make a config change. but when it did work my latency was better and upload was solid and consistently getting good speeds. But the constant issues caused no access to my security system which and stopped me from keeping the damn thing. Maybe I got a bad one but I don't but I CANNOT recommend these.With this review in mind. I work in IT and setup gateways like this all of the time. And I have never had issues like this before with any other product. This thing is terrible

only check thiskeep all 4G5G only check N41for t mobile . Modem is okay, but needs a major upgrade. in Software . The parts are old, but first $300 it works fine.
