If you are using this for experimental purposes and are able to cleanse it thoroughly, then this may be fine; but if you are using this for any kind of production where contaminants are a concern, then you may want to avoid this seller. The funnel arrived with a distinctly foul bacterial odor.

This is a great funnel, designed to work with filtration paper of your preferred micron size. Cleaning is important, and the underside of the flat portion of the funnel can’t be easily inspected. This concern applies to any Büchner funnel, and simply requires some effort to run a soft, flexible brush up the funnel tip to clean that surface and the space beneath.RECOMMENDED

Size is large. I tried wetting filter paper with tincture to stick in place, but had to use water. I like it better than funnel that comes with flask from china, because of larger size.

The funnel was good ceramic quality.No chips, cracks, or glazing issues1.There is a slight curvature to the fritted base causing liquid to run to outer area of funnel.2. 110mm filter paper doesn't fit the 110mm filter funner, the inside diameter is more. Like 111-112mm.
