This thing is much better made than I expected. The glass U-tube is secured in a steel case, and the attachment ports are steel, connected to the U by silicone sleeves. The attachments are not barbed, though.No notes or instructions are included and the scale is not adjustable to zero at the height of the water column at equilibrium. Instead, there is a clear plastic slider that seems to be so you can slide it there for reference. This means you will have to manually calculate all readings by subtracting the number at equilibrium.Overall I'm satisfied with this for the price of around 3 decent cups of coffee.

The ULTECHNOVO Differential Pressure Meter U Tube Manometer received is pretty rough around the edges, but if you need a budget manometer it fits the bill. The glass "U" tube is fixed in place with a plastic cable clip, with the ends attached to welded in place extensions using silicone rubber tubing. The scale is fixed, with a single plastic pointer that is supposed to slide where you want it, though the unit I received is bound up and takes a bit of effort to shimmy it into position. The manometer is not enclosed either. The end caps are roughly stamped with the top cap tack welded in place and the bottom cap just slid onto the channel. The same end cap is used top and bottom so the slots for the mounting screws both face towards the center, and you can't access them from the front. The channel is crudely cut at the bottom, and I had to file it down to remove the sharp edges.This will be used to monitor if our makeup air is sufficient after a weatherization project was completed. It should be accurate enough for that as it's a simple "U" tube in a housing. The build quality isn't that good though so be aware that it isn't a finely crafted instrument.
