The magnet is so small at the end that it hardly picks up the hulls. Add some magnets around the base.

Bought this for dove season, it works pretty well. Definitely saves time bending over and picking up spent hulls. The magnet could be just a smidge stronger to help pull shells up through grass or stalks, but other than that a solid purchase.

This shell magnet works amazing in the dove field and saves your back from picking up the hulls. I was able to get around 8 hulls per sweep before i had no more room. I will be giving these to all my dove hunting friends for christmas!

I got this after a dove hunt got rained out and we left several shells behind as we fled from the rain. This device unfolds easily, folds back and stores easily, and the magnet at the end works surprisingly well, even on shells that have been left out in the elements for a while. Save your back with this inexpensive little tool that truly serves a purpose.

Great product. Will pick up five or six shells at a time. It’s a very strong magnet. Definitely saves your back from having to bend over 200 times at the range.
