Purchased this light prior to going on a dive trip. Worked perfectly fine and and just as bright and easy to use as a name brand my fiance uses with her Dive Camera. Hoping it holds up and lasts for many years and dive trips.

I purchased this dive light to provide light for my underwater camera. After years dealing with a large more complicated underwater photo rig I downsized totally to an Olympus Tough and a simple video light. I know its limitations but I am satisfied with the results I have gotten. The 10000 lumen setting provides me with close up images with a shutter speed faster than 1/250 which was my goal. I do wish it came with the adapter plug for the charger or clearer instructions as to what type adapter was best, which is why I rated this a 4 not a 5.

Very impressed with this light . Quality, brightness, color correction filter, and price. Would recommend this for underwater photos and videos.

This light is great to use underwater with a still camera. The unit gives an even light with no hot spots. However don't expect to to reach further than 1m.It seems to be well made with a good battery life. I turn it on once in the water and leave on during the dive and it lasts upto 2 hours, which is a couple of long dives. It is quite heavy but I think it is good value for money. I like the lock on the unit which prevents accidental turn, this is done by holding down both buttons for a few seconds. The unit won't come on unless both buttons are held down for a few seconds. This prevents damage to the unit or something close to it as it gets very warm if on but not in water.

Tested the dive light for about 10 dives of both day and night dives. It's super bright at night. During the day, it reveals colors of corals up to a distance of about 3 feet.The two buttons cycle through different light settings. One button sets white and yellow at different levels of intensity and a second button sets red, blue, flashing red. Pressing both locks the light, which is a good feature. I have other flashlights with push buttons and they frequently get turned on accidentally. Pressing both buttons unlocks the light and turns it on.However, the light lacks a power button. I have to press the two buttons multiple times to cycle through the settings to get to the intensity level I want. Cycle through yet again or press both to turn off. This is awfully inconvenient underwater.

Boy are these bright, I use two. Does take a long time to charge, but whatever. Also pretty heavy and bulky make sure you have room in your backpack when going through TSA.

This was my first continuous light source purchase for my very beginner, 'just for fun' setup consisting of a light + Sealife sportdiver phone case+ tray. I'm impressed. Solid aluminum build. Very bright, especially for US PNW cold water diving. Can easily turn it off with one finger/thumb when not needed. Color spectrum of red and blue w/ or w/o white is nice. 1" ball mount stays tight. Was doing 2, 50-60min dives and had plenty of battery for that scale.
