  • Prevents insert splitting under heavy feed and shock loads.


"Positive stop" prevents insert drift and the blade pocket from spreading once the insert is set firmly in place, allowing the insert's cutting edge location to repeat accurately as a result. The blade and insert geometry permit free chip flow, minimizing insert breakage due to chip build-up.
