It is long enough for 75 to 300mm lense but it is so wide the lense swims in the bag. It needs to be a tighter fit to protect the lense from rolling around.

I ordered it for my Canon 24-105 lens. Its hard to find one that will hold the lens hood. This one does. Just put the lens hood in first and then put the lens on top and twist it into place. It's a perfect fit.

The substituted case did not prevent the lens from bouncing around. The case designed by Nikon holds the lens firmly in place.

I like the way this pouch is made but what I received is only 8 inches, not 10 inches that the specs say. My Canon f2.8 70-200mm fits into it but not completely. It does provide enough protection for what I needed and for the price I will keep it.
