It simultaneously displays Air Temperature, Humidity, and Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) or Heat Index and updates every 20 seconds. Features programmable audible and visual WBGT and Heat Index alarms with an adjustable audible alarm volume (75dB/60dB/mute)and 4 indicators that display heat stress alert level (Caution, Extreme Caution, Danger, Extreme Danger). An In/Out function switch measures WBGT with or without the effects of direct sunlight. °F/°C switchable. Wall mount for placing meter in a permanent position and tripod mount can be used to free-up your hands when taking measurements over an extended amount of time. Includes (2) AAA batteries and armstrap . 1-year warranty. For outdoor athletic training and events, construction, iron and steel foundries, brick firing plants, glass facilities, boiler rooms, mining sites, and other areas where heat index levels should be monitored.

Just received this WBT. Bought it for work to monitor heat conditions. Installed the batteries. Went through the instructions and set up. It's reading a temp 82.3⁰F, WBGT of 70.2⁰F, and humidity of 45.8%.Well two of the three are close but the Ambient temp is 72⁰F according to my air-conditioning unit. Probably going to return it. Will not work for It's intended purpose.

In general the device is a smart purchase. It’s fairly accurate with multiple settings for a variety of uses. The one drawback it has, and a huge one at that, it’s not durable. For something that promotes itself as field wearable, it’s not nearly robust enough. In the 6 weeks I’ve had it the bulb neck snapped and screen is all scratched up. Absolute bummer.

Don't bet your health on the heat index/RH reports from this device. Having used it through this summer I think it is a flawed design.
