We have had numerous real tree stands over the last 30 years and this one is by far the best and easiest stand! We had a 10ft tree and it took 3 mins to get it up and straight! No fights, arguments or threats of divorce this year! The water button is great so you know when to add more water but definitely be sure not to overfill it as it will leak. This stand is worth every penny!

We tend to buy smaller cut live trees, usually shorter than 5' tall. So, naturally, the trunks are small in diameter.The traditional tree stands with screw-in thumb bolts are difficult to use and unreliable with small-diameter trunk trees.This stand was PERFECT!! It was easy to use and held the tree securely from start to finish. The multi-prong pyramid style supports firmly grabbed the trunk and held on tight for all 3 weeks!!And the water well never leaked and held lots of water so we never had a problem with the cut end drying out.Definitely worth the money!!

After years of dreading setting up our real Christmas trees, I can finally look forward to the process. It honestly took me 30 seconds to place my tree in the stand, hold it straight, press down in the lever until I heard the ding …. and done.It actually even straightens the tree as it tightens.The stand looks to be VERY good quality, which I’m predicting will last me for the next 50 years. That works of to be less then $5 per year of enjoyable Christmas tree bliss. Will recommend this stand to everyone I know.

This stand is kind of "spendy" compared to traditional tree stands - but having decided to purchase it, I'm VERY glad that I did.The Krinner replaced an aging "traditional" style tree stand - the kind where there is a collar with 4 thumb screws that need to be tightened to secure the tree. Using that stand requires 2 people - one to hold the tree in place while another addresses the screws.The Krinner can easily be managed with a single person. I purchased the version with the bell - it's very useful to have that. Once you're holding the tree in the stand, and you begin to press on the foot lever to secure the trunk - it's likely that you won't be able to see the trunk and the gripping arms to tell when to stop pushing the lever.The bell will "ding" to indicate that the tree is secured.Once the tree is in the stand, it's very stable. It has a lower center of gravity (and much more mass) than the traditional stand that it replaced.One added benefit with the Krinner is that it's very easy to remove the tree from the stand. This year, we ended up needing to move the tree, so being able to remove the tree from the stand and then replace it was much easier than it would have with the traditional 4 thumb screw stand.I really liked the large water capacity and the fill gauge on the Krinner too. During this season I only needed to add water once, and it was clear when that was needed because of the gauge.If you decide to purchase the Krinner - there is one piece of advice that I'd offer: when you are purchasing your tree, do the best that you can to select one with the straightest trunk possible.The gripping arms of the Krinner will come up in unison when you are pushing on the foot lever. If the trunk is curved, you can't really "cheat" one side for the other to balance the tree as you might with a traditional stand with the 4 individual screws.Having said that - the tree that we had this year did have a slight curve to is - and the Krinner handled it fine. Going forward though, I'm planning on taking more care to check the trunk just to be sure I'm getting one as straight as possible.Bottom line - it's a great product that works very well and I'm very glad I got it.

So, so, so easy to use. Only took a minute to put an 8 ft tree up straight and for it to be held securely for weeks. It can also hold a lot of water without leaking. Mine didn't need to be topped up for 2 weeks. Wish I'd discovered this product year ago! I rarely write reviews but felt I had to for this product

For a few years now I have been looking at the XXL Tree Genie and always thinking I couldn't justify the price when I have a "good enough" cheap tree stand (the kind with 4 screws that go into the trunk). Finally, I pulled the trigger and it was worth every penny. When I look back on the years of trying to get the tree straight, of tying it to the wall to keep it secure; I wish I bought this earlier. It has made putting up the Christmas tree a non-event; stick it in the base and ratchet the lever until it dings, done! The reservoir is much bigger so it took several trips to the tap to fill with my little watering can, but now I don't have to be filling the base morning and night like I did with my old base.If you are like me and keep looking at this every year and wondering if it is worth the price, the answer is yes.

Every single year, our family purchases a minimum of an 8ft live tree for our front bay window and every single year, we fight with a different tree stand that is supposed to do the trick and handle each tree.I can tell you that I have never written a review before but I am compelled to write this one about this product.We purchased the Krinner Christmas Genie XXL Deluxe and it was the easiest stand to unpack, place the tree in and fill with water that I have ever experienced to date. It actually took me longer to open the box from Amazon and The Krinner box than to set the stand on the ground next to the tree, place the tree into the stand and press the pedal 4 times and I was done!Extremely easy to use, very sturdy and well built, this particular model can handle up to an 8 inch trunk of a tree with ease. Our trunk was 7 inches and there was plenty room left to expand. The water level indicator is very helpful as well. Fill the middle of the stand up with up to 2 1/2 gallons of water and the indicator will rise from the stand as you fill, indicating how much water is in the base. As the tree consumes the water, the indicator will lower back into the base until it is equal with the base. Simply, no sight of indicator means no water in the base!The base is very wide, not made with cheap plastic and has a thick cable that is intertwined through the clamps which in turn secures the base of the tree.Spend your energy positively this Holiday Season instead of fighting with a tree stand. I guarantee that you will be “one and done” with buying any further tree stands for many years to come. Merry Christmas!
