I ordered this unit early so that I would be ready for boating season but when I finally tried it I was extremely disappointed. The unit was advertised to be capable of moving a 3500 lb trailer. Mine weighs 700 lbs. The Tow Tuff is unable to move it up a slight incline because it doesn't have sufficient traction. I tried increasing the weight transfer to the unit by lowering the ball height to it's lowest point to increase traction but that didn't help.Adding weight above the hitch didn't help either. The unit is not as advertised. There was no mention in the online information that the unit should only be used on level ground. If I'm on level ground I move the trailer by hand.I should have known better when the information stated that the unit was not returnable. Disappointed that Amazon allows a no return policy on an item like this. The unit is very nicely painted and looks good in my garage but beyond that is useless.

I ended up returning this because it was not powerful enough and was actually pretty dangerous to operate. If your trailer is very light, it could be useful but that would defeat the need of an electric dolly. The dolly would “buck” violently when pushing a trailer within the 3,500 lb limit. It would also not push the trailer up a standard sloped driveway without manual pushing assistance. The tires would just spin in place. Once you are on perfectly level cement, and pushed down hard on the handle to prevent the “bucking”, it worked pretty well. The return was smooth and the company sent a prepaid shipping label quickly.

I had very little space to get my boat into the boat garage using my truck. This makes life a lot easier . I have a 18 foot north river boat and works great . Little more than I wanted to spend but its very well built and worth the money . Pretty easy to assemble too.

Had a problem when assembling, gear/drive shaft was not working. Contacted seller and they sent a replacement gear/drive shaft and now the dolly works great! Good product for moving a trailer on flat ground, I recommend!

Bought this device 4 months ago. Very powerful engine. Freely drags trailer over 2 tons. But I have a problem. I have lost my charger. Didn't save the documentation. I will gladly accept information about the parameters or where I can buy it.

This product does not pull weight anything close to what is advertised. We have a 20 foot pontoon boat that we can move by hand, we have a tight spot to move it in and out of and the tires just spin on flat level ground and the garage floor, save your money! The seller and the manufacturer were of no help at all and will not stand behind the product, we tried numerous times and they all have their standard go away answers.

Facile à utiliser très puissant mais manque un peu de traction sur la terre ferme.

Bought this to help maneuver my 20ft camper in to a tight area I keep it in. Was a certainly a big help and got the job done quicker and more efficient than any other way I’ve tried. The 4 stars are pretty much what everyone else said the issues were. Wheels will spin on anything loose, that can be a pain, but is easy enough to rock out of the spin area. A brake would be extremely useful, any incline or decline and this will move. Also, it can tip back onto just the rear tires, but if you use the ball chock properly, that is an easy correction.Overall, I’d buy it again, it’s just me moving this thing and now I am able to store it with ease out of the way, the smaller regular trailer I’ve used it on has moved no problem.

I really struggled to buy this or not. But I figured the ER visit for hurting my back is a grand. I am SO HAPPY I DID! It assembles easy and mine will fully charged. I used it right away and wow that was easy. One thing, if you have a lip in the concrete make sure you push it over not pull it over. Once the tires on the trailer hit the lip the dolly will pull up and loose traction. So just keep pushing.Stop thinking, next to buying my boat this is the perfect addition. My back is already thanking me, my wife is happy I am not swearing while I move the boat around any more.

I purchased this so that I can easily park my pop up tent camper into my garage. There is a slight sloping grade on my driveway and to get in to the garage there is a lip where the garage is maybe an inch higher than the driveway.Never use this item on a slope without someone else with you holding blocks, the trailer can and will roll back on you since the dolly has no braking mechanism. It can handle pushing up a very light slope, but no more than that. It cannot push up the 1 inch lip when the wheels of the trailer are at the edge. We have to give it a running start of maybe 15 feet with my wife pushing the trailer and me pushing the dolly to build enough forward momentum to clear the lip.If your trailer is well under 2000lbs then you will likely have better luck, anything more and you will run in to the issues I have raised.Overall it was worth the purchase price, had I known these issues I would have gladly paid $500 more to get something with a little more power and a braking capability.

I have a 18’ key West and I was not able to pull or push it. My boat is under the weight capacity limit and flips over. Even on the concrete drive way I was not able to use it. Pushing it back. It flipped and my trailer crashed onto the drive way. I cannot use it. Will return it. It is actually dangerous using it since the weight center is not balanced. Wolf

The lowest height for the ball is still too high for a lot of smaller trailers. The unit will too easily rock forward. Does not work on gravel. Does not work on paved driveway which is not totally flat, the slightest incline will cause the tires to skid. I came to the conclusion that I could not let any of my employees use it as I would be afraid they could heart themselves. You will have better results using the $69 non motorized dolly from Harbor Freight. Waste of money and dangerous!
