If you look at the pictures for this product it shows a green laser. If your in the market for a leveling laser a big part of the search is whether it is a red or green laser. Green generally is a more expensive laser. I thought I was buying a green laser according to the pictures. None of the descriptions mentioned the color of the laser, but if you go to other websites the color is shown in the description. I used the laser for a few days in the sun using the receiver and it works great. I went to use it at night and realized that the laser was red. I have multiple lasers and its not a deal breaker so I'll keep it because I used it but I want others to know that it is in fact red. The one star is because sellers need to know what they're selling and it's a waste of time sending merchandise back when your counting on the product to perform as detailed when it arrives.
