So at first I bought one just to try it out and my god i immediately bought 2 more and that was like 2 years ago give it take . As of today I own 5 total and i absolutely love this brand . People can’t believe how loud and crisp they really are . They’re cheap , the quality of sound is unbelievable and even after 2 years and rain + extreme heat these things kick on and blast . 10/10

The sound signature is definitely classic, being a Phenolic diaphragm, it sounds much like the classic Fostex and Jensen horns I am used to, and not far off from the CTS Phenolic Ring tweeters the Rectilinears came with. They do the same work at half the volume, so I keep the tweeter pad turned down halfway. They do not have a lot of sparkle, 19khz is a bit of a stretch, its more like 15khz. Maybe as they age, they'll loosen up a bit, but they are definitely a vintage sounding speaker, with just a hint of midrange honk, but a LOT less than I was expecting from a horn that is not advertised as a Tracktrix. For the Rectilinears(1971) 15khz is perfectly fine, the original drivers would go about that high. The lower frequency range is important as the CTS was originally crossed over at 1800hz, so I got rid of the included capacitor and used the original crossover cap. The included cap is a lower value so I couldn't keep it in circuit unfortunately. For 25ish dollars each I consider them to be a good deal, and with the option to swap drivers and diaphragms, their modular design allows me to change them into something else if I get tired of them or damage them.

A big difference before and after, they are very bright and can overpower other speakers. I added an lpad to it.

I ordered 4 and 2 came. They’re worth the money. I’d recommend them. Other 2 boxes had some old used small tweeters. Looks like someone swapped them. Disappointed that happen.
