I replaced two expensive airbrushes that gave me all sorts of problems with this, and knock on wood, but this one hasn't clogged or messed up a single time. Has different needles and nozzles as well which is nice. As long as you clean it after each use, this thing should last you a good while.

Received airbrush fast. Was very pleased with the quality and performance of it also.I'm rather new at airbrushing, but for a beginner it is a great starting point. I haven't used it enough yet to rate durability.

Paired with a dryer/filter/regulator that I purchased at the same time so that I could use my big shop compressor. Nice long hoses make it easy to work a ways from the air source. Painted a model that I'd built in no time. Easy to learn how to control spray volume and get professional results first time around. Easy clean up too! Fantastic product!

This kit comes with multiple size pin and nozzle combinations. It requires frequent cleaning with thicker paint mediums, but it works well with watercolor. I keep a bucket of water handy to immerse it into when changing between colors or to keep it clean. A good air compressor will make all the difference.

I was really skeptical of this, but it's an amazing value... a complete, very functional double-action airbrush kit for $25. Not only do you get a solid double-action airbrush, but you get a braided hose, a 1/8" BSP to 1/4" NPT adapter, three different nozzles and needles. The airbrush itself is of decent quality. It works every bit as well as my older Paasche VL. It doesn't feel cheap or fragile, although it clearly uses less-expensive components. It's a bit tricky to put back together after re-assembling. If you can't afford something nicer, but are skeptical about this one working, don't worry. It works great. The 1/8" BSP to 1/4" NPT adapter allows you to connect the airbrush to connect the airbrush to a standard U.S. garage-type air compressor. I used it to attach a quick release connector so that I can pop it on and off the air hose along with my other air-powered tools and accessories. The inclusion of this adapter in this kit is icing on the cake.

Everything you need out of the box except the compressor. It's not up to Paasche quality of course but at this price point it's a great starting point to learn how to use an airbrush, and if you are just doing things like priming models or terrain, you may never need another one. The three(!) different needles and nozzles give a good range of effects from reasonably fine lines to wide spray patterns. The control is reasonable, though you will get splatter if you let off the air before you stop the paint - the same for more expensive airbrushes. There are a couple of downsides. I find the trigger placement off for my hand. The edge of the button tends to dig into my finger when spraying for an extended period. Like all airbrushes you must keep it scrupulously clean or it will clog. This is problematic for this unit because the spray tips are tiny - much smaller, and one presumes cheaper to make, than more expensive brands. Their size makes them difficult to remove or reinstall even with the provided wrench, and if you drop on on the carpet, forget it, it's gone forever. There is no explanation of what the chrome knob is on the end of the handle and after turning it randomly then giving up and using Google, I discovered it's an adjustable stop that you can use to limit the trigger travel to ensure you get a consistent paint flow when needed. The final minor downside is the lack of even a cheap wire or stamped metal holder. Is it a great air brush? No, but it a good one, very good at this price point. I may upgrade in the future, but I'll still keep this one around for basic spraying.
