Just got this today and was impressed with the solid construction. Put together quickly and used it on a tree that I took down earlier in the week. I did have to cut off about 15’ that was bent to get it to hold. It raised a 15” or bigger trunk 20 feet in length with minimal effort.

This tool is extremely handy! No more putting the end of the chainsaw in the dirt or pulling your back out to lift a large log onto something to get it off the ground. Just hook and push down and the log is in the air, ready to cut! It's so simple and perfect. Thank you for saving our backs! LOL

A bit heavy but easy to assemble. Sharp edges on the lifter and arm which is actually needed to grab the trunk. Opens Abt 21 inches wide. I assumed it would be a hollow steel but there are inner layers to provide sturdiness. Overall, it seems worth the money .

As a homeowner with some land, I had to cut down a bunch of trees and log them up. Trying to do this sounds easy enough but the buckling and issues you get trying to log up a tree can be very frustrating. This works great to grab a log and pull it up in a way that I can easily cut the tree up! So happy to finally have this.

The first issue is the most important: this product is extremely dangerous. The fittings don’t “fit,” and even when the nuts and bolts are tightened as far as they will go, the product wobbles and moves, and, as a result, is wildly unstable. Remember that the point of this product is to stabilize logs so you can cut them with chain saws. This is all the result of non-existent quality control. The jack arrived with no assembly instructions; a missing nut; and fittings that required bending in order to complete assembly (which was done by looking at the on-line photo). The world only works when companies take a bit of pride in what they do. These guys don't. This is borderline criminal negligence. Amazon will eventually get sued for allowing this vendor to sell on the platform.

Not bad but is fairly floppy after assembly. Next time i would spend the money on a lee valley product.

This works Okay. There is too much of a gap in the part that holds the arm, which makes the arm wobbly, it also causes it to not line up straight. It works, I use it, but it is not of very high quality. If the tolerance was tighter this thing would be much better. As it it is it is loose, but it works enough. This is harder to use on smaller logs due to the wobbliness.

Worked well but if you do not add some washers to stuff provided then whole thing feels a little sloppy. I like the fact that you can break this down to store and that if feels very well made. Welds look good, steel is a good heavy guage and handle is comfortable. I did leave it outside for a few nights (including rain) and it faired well. I would suggest putting some never-sieze on handle thread just to prevent rust welding it in-operable. I did push this item past its recommended use and was able to put a slight bow in mine but did not cause tool to not be useful as before. I was able to more logs over 30" with this item. I would buy again and recommend.
