I haven't done a review in awhile. But I have to for this set. Anytime I work on a car, I just go right to these. They grip the worst condition bolts. I mean you can use these on those stripped jacked up bolts and add a little leverage and boom. I have a maglite flash light body that I have used for years to slip over a rachet and get leverage. Just a side note that it works great with these, so find that perfect thick walled pipe that is about a foot long and you will love it with these.I am cheap. I hate spending money, and to be honest I thought I would end up returning these cause most of the time I am not in love with my amazing purchases. But these are 5 out of 5.I saw people say they broke, but I have beat the hell out of them and they are still perfect. Only annoyance is the move around in the box, the box isn't great for keeping them in place. So do yourself a favor and cut a piece of cardboard the interior size and use it when you are done and they won't slide all over the box.

**A Lifesaver for My 2022 Tiffin Motorhome!**I was dealing with a severely stripped oil drain plug on my 2022 Tiffin motorhome, and nothing else seemed to work. After failing to remove the plug in the final attempt using vice grips, I was worried I might have to take it to a shop, but Amazon next-day Prime delivery and the THINKWORK set came to the rescue.The extractors in THINKWORK Bolt Extractor Set are well-made and gripped the stripped bolt perfectly. The Service Tech at the Ford service facility must’ve put a bit of extra elbow grease whenever he tightened it on the last oil change. It took substantial effort once the extractor socket was firmly seated, but with a strong pull on a long-handle ratchet, I was able to remove the drain plug without any further damage. VERY IMPRESSED.The different sizes in the set made it easy to find the perfect fit.The only downside I found so far is with the case - it doesn’t appear to be all that durable, and I had to add an extra bit of padding around the sockets to keep them from falling out of place and getting totally disorganized. That was but a minor inconvenience, and I was able to overcome easy enough.If you're dealing with a stubborn bolt, especially something as critical as an oil drain plug on a motorhome, this set is an absolute must-have. It saved me time, money, and a lot of further frustration.Highly recommended!

I am replacing brakes all around on my 91 XJ which includes my wheel cylinders for the back drum brakes. I did a whole replacement of everything about 5 years ago and living in the Northeast rust belt especially on the coast is murder on all bolts and fasteners. I was trying to take out the bolts fastening the wheel cylinder and the edges of the bolt just disintegrated with one turn of the wrench. So I go to my local auto parts store and of course they didn't have any bolt extractors that I needed and just for one 3/8 extractor would have cost over 10 bucks. I looked up Amazon and found this set. I read the reviews and almost all were positive. I recieved it this morning and in less than 5 minutes I had both bolts out. The only issue for me (which has nothing to do with the extractor set)was the space I was limited to tapping on the extractor to the bolt between the leaf spring and the backing plate which is no more than 9 inches. This set is not cheap by any means. They even have a gripping ring around the extractor if you need to use a pair of vise grips. I had an extractor set from a very well known manufacturer and had paid almost 200 dollars over 10 years ago. Unfortunately they were stolen and I have to say this set worked just as great as the other set.Some people had mentioned about the case and when you get them they are scattered around inside the case which happened in my case as well,this is an easy fix. Just cut out a piece of thick cardboard to fit and using the foam piece it came with I shook it violently and everything stayed in place, but for the price I paid, I wouldn't care if they came in and plastic sandwich bag!! Lol.Just a little advice for anyone who doesn't have experience with extractors, if you PB blasted the bolts/nuts, just make sure that you hit it with a generous amount of brake cleaner. You want a clean and dry surface on the bolt/nut to minimize any slippage and loss of grip. I can't see how anyone could give this set anything less than 5 stars. I highly recommend this set. For what you pay, you can't go wrong.

So I almost NEVER write reviews on anything. That being said, this one was worth it.First, the one and only negative thing I can say is yes, the plastic POS box that they come stored in is crap. Do yourself a favor and cut a piece of cardboard or something similar to seal the gap when the case is closed and latched.The tools themselves are fantastic. I ended up stripping out a round carriage bolt with a hex head (1 of 2 for the motor mount on a dirtbike). Before foolishly doing so, I was able to remove the bolt just enough before rounding it out. I was able to pick the smaller of the two closest sizes and with some pressure on my socket wrench this thing backed out with ease allowing me to replace my final bolt with a titanium hardware upgrade and get back on the road! Thank you very much for a quality hardware set that will surely come in handy on future projects.

These came in very handy for removing poor quality, rusty bolts on a 10+ year old car that stripped. The set includes the right number of sockets with graduated sizes that really made a difference. This is great for removing nuts and bolts in both easy and difficult places to reach. I'm happy with this purchase.

I thought I had to buy new rear lenses for my car because last time I tried to remove them, the 4 nuts holding each rear lights lens, were so tight that the hex nuts stripped and I was thinking that the only way to remove them was to cut each bolt off...this if course would have meant new lense replacement at a cost of $400 each.But then I came across this remover kit and boy am I glad that I did because it saved me well over $800 in unnecessary expenses.What I like about this set is that a lot of good thinking has gone into designing their sizes because they go up in functions of millimeter which means you have complete control over badly damaged hex nuts and bolts , regardless of the severity. In my case, some nuts were completely rounded off, with minimal material left, yet I could pick just the right size from the set and easily remove each.They are also good for removing tightly turned undamaged nuts and bolts as the socket digs into the sides of the hex and effortlessly rotates them loose without slipping and damaging the HexI definitely recommend the set.
