Customizable with gifs, images, clock, screen mirror(limited usefulness*), and temps. So some of the positives: being able to adjust the brightness, looks great and is a nice addition to the overall look of the case you put it in. On that note you do not need a Thermaltake case to use this screen and the software will let you use it on any PC setup. Some of the negatives: the screen does have some poor viewing angles, it doesn't always start the software on a full shutdown (could be setup specific), overall the screen size could be larger. You do need a USB header on your motherboard, and as far as I am aware, it's only available with a black cable.I enjoy it and it does well for what I wanted out of it.

Can this screen work? Yes, but with a lot of effort.1. Comes with a connector to the motherboard, and two terminations that are micro USB ends, one of which connects to the screen and works (insert guess a terminal). They both did not work!2. Information is light on installation. Looking on the internet brings up a host of frustrated installers.3. EVERY START UP, if you want to use this, the software has to be manually run. I did not find a way to auto run the software. You must approve EACH TIME, windows permissions to run the software (every reboot).4. I believe computer sleeping messes with it. Insert reboot machine and follow above start up steps. It can work eventually. I saw a host of frustrated customers that were disappointed with ThermalTake. The product feels / seems rushed / poorly conceived.

Every single interaction I’ve had with Thermaltake’s products has been more frustrating than the last.First off, this screen looks awful. If you want to upload an image the colors are oversaturated and blurry. There’s no way to re-size the image in the software. You can display metrics like temps on top of your uploaded image, but the text is so small you can barely even see it. They offer their own backgrounds on their website, but there aren’t any templates that include an image AND system information. You can just display info if you want but again, there’s no way to customize how the screen looks apart from text color. The software itself takes ages to open and is very clunky. Simple to use, but certainly could be better. All of this was preceded by the fact that Thermaltake sent me a used product. I could tell before I’d even opened it that the box had been torn in a way that I knew meant someone had already opened it. Sure enough, inside the box the screen and cables were a tangled mess, there was no twist tie on the cable, the screws were tossed in, and the bag for the warranty booklet was crumpled. I bought this for a mini pc I’m planning, but I don’t have any other parts yet so I had to test it on my other build because I knew it had already been returned and I wanted to make sure they didn’t send me a broken product. It works, but I can see why the last person was probably disappointed and returned it.Also it doesn’t look like it from the product images, but there are two screen connectors, one on either end, and in the middle is the motherboard usb connector. There’s only one hole in the screen itself, so I have no idea where that other one is supposed to go. Maybe you can connect multiple monitors together but idk why anyone would want that when you could just get one larger screen instead.I’ve got the new tr100 case on the way and I had reservations about ordering another Thermaltake product after what happened with their AIO in my last build (the software refused to recognize my device so I couldn’t control the screen or fan speeds, and the daisy chained cables looked messy and ugly, so I returned it and got a much better AIO from a different brand), but this was the case that best fit my needs for this next build. Since I won’t be able to see inside the case I wanted this screen so I could check temps quickly without opening another program. All of that seems pointless now since I won’t be able to see this screen if I’m sitting more than a foot away from it.If not for their new cases I’d be finished with Thermaltake for good!

Bought this because the Towers for thermaltake are GREAT. The LCD screen however is pure unadulterated trash. Was really cool for the 24 hours it worked but then it wouldn't even light up. The software for The screen is also a huge pain in the rear. Don't waste your time with the LCD Screen.

I normally dont review products but for 90 dollars I expected more. 1 star for easy configuration, 1 star for working. That's it. Unless your eye level is level with the screen, the colors are all out of whack. You have the choice of either having 1 PC statistic (temp, clock, etc) on the screen at a time, or cycling through all of them. If you want to customize the picture, the stats get downgraded to a tiny little text in the bottom of the screen barely visible instead of being front and center like their presets. These pics are from my head level in my seat. You can see the horrible stat track and color issues. If im glancing over at my pc case from my seat to check temps, I CANNOT make any of that out unless I choose the boring preset stat screen they provide.

I only had the LCD kit a few weeks and it stopped working. To be fair, now I realize that it was faulty from the start, Amazon did a refund within minutes of contacting them. Great great service. I've re-ordered the product. The kit does finish the case with a professional look I must say.

I wanted to add something fun to my new ThermalTake Tower 300 build, so I decided to add this optional LCD.The functionality is okay. It's not the greatest, but perhaps they will add more functionality over time. The main thing I wanted though was a fun animated gif on the display, which this does without issue. My main concern though is that the LCD seems to scratch pretty easily. I was trying to wipe it free of dust and noticed very minor scratching after using a cloth to wipe it. I think it would be nice if they made a little glass screen protector for this to make sure it lasts. The other wish I have is that it came in other bezel color options. It would be nice if the bezel matched the Hydrangea Blue color scheme of my tower.Aside from durability concerns though, it's a fun product that adds a bit more personality to the system, and it has been functioning without issue.

The LCD screen works well with the TT Tower 300. I just wish they had a white version. I don't find too much use for the screen (options) so I just display the time and date on it. It's definitely more for looks. I recommend it only if you have the extra cash and want that extra screen to be the cool dad.
