This awl was advertised for bookbinding but the first time I used it the tip bent over and broke off as I tried to pierce the layers of paper in a signature for one of my books, Not fit for purpose.

The handle on this is so small it makes it impossible to put enough pressure on the tool to use it. It puts pressure on the hand which is painful.
