This is a well-made pouch and I love the drawstring top that does not require a plastic locking device. The bottom has plastic disc and firm foam inserts so it is quite stiff. I made a slit in the material and removed the discs so it would compress a little when I need to put a smaller lens in it.

There is a small lip where the closure is sewn to the body that prevents me from fitting my 35mm lens (which is exactly 3.5" across with the hood attached) in it into the pouch.

Purchased the pouch for a Canon RF 800mm lens and it was the perfect fit. Will do well for this lens. Product is high quality and seems to be durable. Time will tell.

I was concerned this would not be right size for my Sigma 100-400. It is perfect. Room for lens with the lens hood in storage position. Not too thick, can still get it in my camera bag.
