I used this as a replacement for a PacBrake, it sits under the hood in heat and cold at 100psi and lasts. Couldn't be happier with it.

I decided to try this valve out instead of buying the $160-$300 one that is sold by the manufacturer of the exhaust brake I put on my Dodge diesel pickup. It was easy to wire, came with all the fittings I needed to plumb it, had simple mounting holes, an led light on the solenoid to let you know when it's actuated, (nice feature when installed under the hood of a diesel truck) and has been working reliably for the last 3 months. Valve probably gets actuated no fewer than 150 times a day, automatically by my engines computer, and is switching 160psi air pressure with zero leakage. So I would highly recommend, and will use this brand in the future shall I ever have any more air or fluid switching needs.

I bought this valve for a replacement for the same type of valve. I read the description that said 12-24 volts. I bought it based off that. Usually the pictures on Amazon hardly ever reflect the actual product. This time I should have looked only at the picture because the coil actually says it’s not 12 volt. Instead it’s a 24 volt. WILL NOT WORK WITH 12 VOLTS. I got lucky that my old valve was kinda the same and I was able to use the original coil. Valve works fine with the old coil. Don’t buy it if you don’t have a 24 volt system!

I bought this to switch ported vacuum, but it only works with positive air pressure. When 12V applied to leads, I can hear the magnetic rod moving with authority, but the valve, which is visible through the ports, does not move. Apparently the stiction of the rubber O-rings is too much for the solenoid, therefore it takes 20 psi or more to move the diverter valve. Am returning this at no cost to myself because of my Prime membership.

Not only is the picture/directions wrong about the port fitting, but this is not stated anywhere; this is a normally closed valve, which does not suit my purpose. For those unaware, normally closed (NC) means air will go from the output port (A) to the vent port (R) when there is no power applied. When power is applied the piston changes to allow filling from input port (P) to output port (A).A normally open (NC) valve would allow air to go from P to A without power and A to R when power is applied. If this was stated somewhere, anywhere, in the title or description I would have not purchased. Unfortunately I didn't have everything I needed to test this until after my final return date, so I guess I'm out $15.

I purchased the tailonz brand because of the quality of their tubing fittings. This valve did not operate with the first several firings, but it eventually freed up the plunger and works perfectly now. It seems well made and does exactly what I need it to. I'm using it with only 20psi air, so it should have an easy life.
