This item has been extremely useful for my work. XGecu's software comes with every kind of flash chip supported out-of-the-box, and I can very easily do both chip-on and chip-off firmware analysis in embedded devices, and even program back my own firmware if I so choose. There's even an open-source tool, minipro, that supports the device very well, if you don't trust XGecu's official softwares or you're running MacOS or Linux.This is a very good tool, and I highly recommend it if you need to interface with flash memory devices.

This programmer does what it’s supposed to just great. No complaints. I needed it for re-flashing a bios for my old buggy FIC AU31 motherboard which worked out perfectly and made me happy :)

This unit is superb for a retro computer enthusiast like myself, it's simple enough to use and the downloadable software is fairly straight forward, I've used this for old PLCC32 bios chips to graphics card bios chips in dip 32 and dip 40 packages and it's worked wonderfully well bringing many old cards back to life, I've yet to come across a chip it hasn't worked with, there's an absolute plethora of stuff it can do that I'll probably never use it for but it's there if I need it in the future.The socket is of very high quality and is sprung loaded downward but note the orientation of the socket is upside down to what you would consider "The right way up" so pay attention to the socket "notch"This is basically an update of the very popular TL866II+ programmer, I've seen many a fake of these programmers floating around so make sure you get the genuine Xgecu branded one.This one comes with a load of adapters for many different chip packages which is very useful and further adapters can be bought elsewhere and individually for very little money.Excellent kinda niche product that I love because I'm a geek.

In a world full of knock-offs and false claims, this is a sleeper. I picked this up as my need to program PLCC-32, and TSOP-8 EEPROMs is only growing, especially with older computers or expansion cards either having faulty chips or having to be reflashed. I was skeptical but decided to try this programmer out.Boy have I been pleasantly surprised. The programmer itself is well built and sturdy, the software from the website is simple enough and works surprisingly well even in Windows 10 (and in Linux via WINE), it just works, which is exactly what you WANT it to do.
