I just got this today and I love it. I glued the short mouthpiece that came with the cheaper melodica that I have because I like the feel of that mouthpiece better! This is the angle that I use and it's just right to see the whole keyboard. The only negative that I have is what others have mentioned about the S-mouthpiece swiveling while performing. But not enough to be a deal breaker. Suzuki just need to make it fit more snuggly like the other pieces. Overall I love it and would recommend it.

This mouth piece is amazing for seeing the keys more than a trumpet style mouthpieces that comes with a default melodica.

エクステンションマウスピース(MP-181)と迷ったが、あちらの汎用性を買ったのが大間違い。ベリーショート唄口ならギリギリオッケーですがそれ以上の長さの唄口には中途半端に長すぎて使い物にならず、かなり後悔しました。こちらを取り寄せたところ、長さも曲がり具合もノーストレス。最初からこちらにすべきでした。音の響きはそれぞれに異なる(ショート唄口単体、プラスMP-181、s型唄口)ので色々あっても結局は結構楽しめます。こちらの唄口は鉄のパイプだからなのか、そっと吹いても割と反響するような気がします。あまり強く吹きすぎるとうるさいかも。あとは耐久性がどうかなと言ったところです。

Works very well for me. For beginners and intermediates. Very useful to see the notes in songs more difficult especially during a performance. I received the product quickly. After many, i have no problem with this instrument.

I wish this mouthpiece came by default with Susuki Melodians. As a beginner Melodica player, it's really tough to play without being able to see the keys. There is the option of playing with the gooseneck hose, but it feels really nooby/goofy and always slings spit everywhere. Not to mention restrictive on your airflow. This mouthpiece solves that problem and lets you comfortably see the keys as you play them. It's well made and it's really a must have if you own a Susuki Melodian!
