Your cart is empty.SSS Style 24BBA gasket tape is produced by expanding 100% virgin PTFE into a highly fibrillated structure which is softer and more flexible than regular PTFE, and thus conforms easily to irregular and roughsurfaces. In addition, the expanded PTFE material is easier to compress and exhibits excellent resistance tocreep and cold flow. SSS 24BBA gasket tape is supplied as a continuous tape with a self-adhesive backingstrip to facilitate easy installation. Easily seals flanges with rough or irregular surfaces and requires less bolt torque than othergasket materials. It is particularly suited for sealing glass lined and plastic flanges. It also can be used to seal all aggressive chemicals over the entire 0 to 14 pH range, except for molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine.
