Its all plastic and and multiple crack in cubes where they are not suppose to be also on the telescoping tube when u extend it jus falls over.Do not recommend wasting your money on this as I am trying to get my money back or a replacement y

I wanted to really love this, but it is so sensitive to any amount of clogging that it immediately gives up. I bought a mesh box to go around it and protect it from debris and within 5 minutes, it went from a gorgeous fountain spray to a measly dribble. In a super clean pond setting I think it would be an absolutely beautiful addition that creates a stunning light show. However, in a pond full of plants and fish, it really struggles to keep operating.That said, when it does operate, WOW, it's gorgeous. I do wish the instructions described what fountainhead does what, like what type of effect to expect to see with each one. Since it doesn't, I was going to change the heads myself to see what I prefer, but I can not get the first head OFF after having it on for a few days. It's totally stuck. So, I guess we'll just stick with that one. The output is wonderfully adjustable, so I can set the pump in the deeper middle of the pond or on one of the shelves, I like that I have options. The lights are quite bright, they light up the fountain at night to create a truly dazzling display. I like that it came with a bunch of extra sponge filters (I certainly need them!) I was able to use a power nozzle to clean the first filter and it's held up great to rough cleaning, I haven't had to replace it yet.I'd imagine it may be somewhat tricky to get this to stay in place without all the pond plants around like I have. The outlet tube is mounted to a ball so it can be put at an angle, though I need it to go straight up so that's how I have it set. Without the plants around, it may lean a bit to the side.This fountain is purely for visual effect, I don't think it's valuable for filtration at all. The little sponge filter really just keeps debris from clogging up the motor, but it doesn't offer any cleaning value to the pond.Overall, I'm glad I got it. My pond just has waterfalls, the addition of a spray fountain is wonderful, and at night when the light is visible, it's quite awesome.Also worth noting is that I cannot hear it - there's no noticeable annoying vibration or rattling sound - it operates silently.

This pond filter system is a total game changer! The water in our small garden pond is so much cleaner now, and the multi-layer filtration really makes a difference.
