I mounted mine to the ceiling to store my paddleboards. Installation was very easy and even though my garage ceiling is relatively low, the boards are out of the way.

These brackets are very strong and support my son’s surfboards perfectly. The ceiling mount is exactly what we needed with my son away in another country for several years and he didn’t want to part with his boards. We had to install them indoors due to our Arizona heat making it not feasible for outdoor storage. We bought two sets to support each board.

The rack seems ok. But the quality is pretty poor. It has arrived cracked and the padding is completely impacted and the support seems to have been compromised.

I bought this because I wanted my garage gym to be clear and free of certain items. It’s a little jam packed in there, but I was able to install this rack to hold my paddleboard. It’s located on my ceiling and I have to finagle the paddleboard up as my ceiling is covered in other storage accessories. It almost doesn’t work, but I’m able to make it with the space. It does what it does, and it feels sturdy. I placed them on my studs and they are holding up the paddleboard very well. if you’re looking for a solution that is easier then I wouldn’t go for something on the ceiling like this. Get something on the wall. and I would also pick something that lifts the paddleboard for you instead of you having to do all the work. This gets the job done, but I know that there are better options out there. I also believe that this would only fit one paddleboard, depending on your fins I have very large, very long fins, but I know that some have short fins. Definitely look at the dimensions and make sure if you’re trying to do two fins that you’re not going to disappoint yourself with the dimensions being insufficient.

Rack worked great on a pitched ceiling w/ a 10’ board, the hardware provided is solid, 15 minute install tops, I’d absolutely buy again.

A practical way to utilise empty ceiling space and a perfect way to store surf boards which were otherwise always in the way. Excellent build quality and would undoubtedly take way more load than a board or two. Straight forward to mount using the supplied fixings, the hardest part was locating the ceiling joists.

Works Great.Easy to install. Only criticism is they provide you exactly 4 screws and 4 washers. Of course I went a 1/4 turn too much on the last screw and snapped it. Had to stop everything in 100 degree weather to run to Home Depot for a screw. Would have been a nice/cheap thing to add at least one extra screw and washer for just such a possibility.I am trying to determine how rigid the 50 lbs. limit is. I'd like to stack my two boards, but they add up to 64.5 lbs. If it's about the screws, I can always get heavier duty screws, but not sure if it's a rack problem itself. Got a question in to the seller.
