Ordered this for my mother in law, who was moving/down-sizing and she loves it. It holds all of her papers, rolls easily, locks, and fits well in her room.

I didn't like this file cabinet. It's cheaply made and definitely not worth the price we paid for it. However, what's even worse is their return policy, which states "Shipping costs incurred for returns are the buyer’s responsibly and a restocking fee of up to 20% will be deducted from your refund"So I go to the post office to attempt to return this item, in the original box it came in, and the post office says the absolute MINIMUM cost to ship this back is $87. So, considering I only paid around $50 for the cabinet, I would actually have to pay another $37 just to send it back. Yes, they give you a prepaid label to return it, but like the policy states, it is deducted from your refund, so basically, even if you don't owe money, you get nothing back. So much for 3rd party sellers, I guess I'm sticking with Amazon only products. At least they actually pay for their returns.

The drawer holds all my necessary files however, tips forward when I open the drawer because of the weight of the papers in the drawer. So if you have to open the drawer more than half way, and happen to have things in those front drawers, the entire item will most likely tip forward. A little annoying to me but this can be ignored as I dont access that draw often. If you plan on opening this more frequently than I do, determine if that would be a problem for you. Overall, it does the job.

Flimsy and overpriced, if you're looking to put real confidential documents do not buy. First, it was not even locking and second you could literally break this in 2 seconds.

If all you need is a temporary solution to organize files while you clean out, this is functionally great... but extremely overpriced. If you're looking for a permanent modular file storage solution, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.The design idea was great, but the research and development failed to deliver on a product that was both mobile and functional.Stability:The stability is awful, while the tops have concaves that make it look great for stacking, they don't actually help keep things in place. Their solution to hold stacked units in place were 4 horrible quality squares of double-sided tape. Ironically, this kinda ruins the "mobile" aspect of the singular drawer design as it's obviously not going to hold up over time if you keep moving them.Similarly, as you can imagine, if you fill it up and extend the drawer, the entire unit will tip forwards unless you find some way to anchor it down. To make matters worse, even if anchored down, the drawers aren't very stable in their position and will fall out when extended...Craftsmanship:Again, absolutely awful. It's a very thin plastic shell with plastic rails for the hanging file folders. Any miniscule amount of weight can easily bend or warp the unit, so it's definitely not designed for a full box of papers, much less any unusually heavy items. The edges of the plastic weren't even cleaned and you'll likely find several edges where there's thin pieces of plastic hanging. Finally, the lock/key are very jagged in their functionality and don't work very smoothly.Security:This unit has a lock/key which minimally works and is good if you want to be able to tell if anyone has tampered with your papers but don't be fooled into believing this will prevent actual left if the person doesn't care to leave traces of tampering. That said, the lock itself is cheaply made and could be picked easily enough without leaving traces of tampering by anyone who knows even the basics about locks and lock picking.As far as Amazon's shipping department goes (which didn't affect the rating I gave)... I ordered 2 Black units and instead I received 1 Black and 1 Black/Blue unit.

I was surprised that this plastic drawer with stood the weight of the files that I put in it. I purchased to go under my desk and the dimensions were spot on. It is sturdy enough, rolls great and tucks away nicely

Bought this storage container for some glass pieces I have. It’s very discreet and seems to be smell proof. The wheels are a little wobbly but they still work pretty well. For the price it’s great for what it is honestly

The description stays the item is made of steel but it is actually plastic. The lock seems to be more like aluminum and it won't stay in place, falls out of the hole and falls inside every time. When drawer is locked it works ok. But as soon as it's unlocked the locking mechanism falls down inside the drawer.
