There were no hose washers with it. It takes at least two washers to keep it from leaking around the hose. Ihe hose receptacle is too deep. Otherwise it is very nice and functions as intendedUpdate: I finally got the hose connection to stop leaking. However the float mechanism does NOT shut off the flow of water even when it is completely covered with water. I wouldn't waste your time with it

I have gone to using these plastic float valves for my cattle tanks, because aluminum ones tend to corrode at the hose connection, so you cannot remove the hose. Very sturdy and effective.

I used this product for horse water troughs and it was effective but the hose could not screw In properly so it sprayed out leaking water everywhere.

Stock Water Tank Float Valve for Livestock Stock Tanks Water Trough Float Valve Controlled, Monitors. After spending $150 on a pool maintainer I found this and rebuilt my previous one for $20 wish I would have known about it before the $150 expenditure, It's exactly the same piece of equipment so I'm out $130 but now Happy

I accidentally bought two of these, thinking they were the Little Giant brand I always use. They are not! They are total junk! The opening where you screw the hose in was too small so it’s impossible to attach things properly. This means water shoots out the opening at the top, with no was to make it work. Both devices were defective. I tried them with multiple hoses. They don’t fit properly. I am returning these asap.

Was looking for a replacement float valve for a Port A Cool swamp cooler and this one works great. Had to drill one small hole to mount the valve but it was on and working great in 10 minutes! Very happy!

Replaced a broken one with this. They look exactly the same. It works as it should. Was a little tricky to connect but that may have been on our end. Used an adapter and it was fine.
