Buyer beware! Amazon is saying this isn't returnable due to hazmat concerns. What kind of hazardous material is in this thing? I was not provided any information about there being something hazardous in it, but no similar pressure relief valves for sale on Amazon have this restriction. Is Amazon lying or is there something dangerous about this thing? Amazon support is a dead end and says to contact the manufacturer. Manufacturer says there is nothing hazardous. Bottom line, inaccurate description.

The product is fine and will stop the leaking, but why does this keep happening?My cold pressure washer has been through 3-4 of these TRV's over ~10 years while my hot pressure washer is almost 20 years old on the original valve (same model valve).The only difference I can see is my hot water pressure washer has the TRV pointed up on the unloader valve and my cold washer has it level or slightly below the hose inlet. I believe this keeps the valve wet and allows it to corrode.I'm going to put an elbow on my cold washer and try and keep this valve out of any water remaining in the machine after use. Anyway, something you might check if these valves are failing on your machine.

Used it to replace the one on my power washer. After 20 minutes I saw the black piece fall off. I had to bend the rim of the part so the washer wouldn’t fall out so I could continue and go to three more jobs.
