The mount was of excellent quality; however, the description of specs did not clearly indicate what size flag pole would fit the mount. Flag pole I purchased did not fit the mount, and unfortunately had to return the mount .

Will not work on 1-1/4 inch rails. Bolts are 1/4 inch to shortUnfortunately I bought 2 of these pieces of junkUpdate…I emailed Stealth and informed them of the short bolts and they are sending me the correct length….They responded to my email right away….Raising from one star to 4…..

This product is falsely advertised on two accounts. 1. In the questions it ask will they work with Scotty holders...the answer NO...it can be yes if you own a dremel and file down the male tab in the Stealth rail mount. If you don’t, it will not accept the stem of the Scotty rod holder. 2, IT DOES NOT fit1 1/4” square pontoon rails. The bracket fits but the 4 bolts provided are approximately 1/4” to short. Either the factory in CHINA substituted shorter bolts or this had some terrible design engineers behind it.

I bought this to mount a flag on the rail of my condo's balcony, the diameter of which is well within it's recommended limits. To get sufficient tightness gripping the rail, I ended up over torqeuing one of the 4 small fasteners and couldn't get it off or on. The nut now spins in the ABS plastic housing, rendering the device unusable. Ultimately I abandoned the mount in favor of a few zip ties.I like that it is small, light and made of durable plastic but am not convinced the fasteners used were adequately sized for the design and tested.

Finally found a kayak rod holder mount that I am sticking with. Have two, one for each side. Great product!

Works as intended but my rails are a bit big.Had to use just 2 bolts kitty Korner from each other. I may grind them a little bigger with a dreamer to fit my rail.
