These a pretty good and worked out well for measuring bores. The only thing was the largest one had a bit of 'rust' in the thread which is getting worse in the thread making it hard to turn.

I want to love these handy hole diameter gauges but find the spreading mechanism to be fragile. One already stopped working after just a few measurements. I need to have it replaced. That said, they feel like quality steel devices. Not sure if this is a design flaw or a defect with this particular set. Will update after I see how the Starrett support is.
