They even send you a ranch to tighten and adjust. The device has rubber inserts to protect your wooden handle should you decide to remove it later. Great product!

This handle extender was easy to install and helps my wife to be able to raise her recliner. I like the soft cover on the handle and while it is not the prettiest thing it works without looking too bad.

In reading the reviews of similar items, this one had a better design. The mechanism that attaches to the lever is more adaptable than the rest, has a better handle design, and worth the extra money to me. My husband was very impressed with the design of this when he installed it, saying it was well made and thought out. This one has a rubber-like cover on the handle, so when it hits the floor, the floor is protected. When the lever is all the way down, I can easily reach it. I bought this because of surgery I am having and won't be able to twist and bend to reach the lever for several weeks. This one works great to alleviate the twisting reaching down motion needed to reach the lever without extender.

We bought this because the new Lazy Boy Chair our Mother purchased, had a short handle. She was not able to comfortably pull the handle and it was causing her to regret her purchase. Found this, ordered, installed it and now she loves the chair again. Quality is nice for the price, works as it should, no issues. Thanks!

This did not help the height of the lever so for us was not helpful. However I can imagine there are many ailments that this may very helpful. It was very easy to install and all metal. It seems to be very sturdy.

This arrived promptly with no problems. It is really well built from quality steel with a really nice finish on the steel. The securing bolts seem very strong and locked the device around the wooden handle of my chair with no problems. You might have to retighten the bolts a couple of times as the foam padding protecting the wooden arm slowly crushes down.Definitely helps extend the reach of the original handle and adds quite a bit of leverage, making it easier to use the foot rest lever. Happily recommended this product.

Some have commented on how quick it was to install the extender. Not for me. Although the instructions were easy to understand, using the wrench (included) to loosen and tighten the bolts took me quite a while b/c it was hard to tell if the bolts were widening the bracket enough to install on the recliner handle. I spent a while loosening the bolts being careful not to loosen them to the point of removal. Once I got the extender on the handle, it was a slow process again to tighten the bolts enough for security. (Still not sure it is as tight as could be. LASTLY, when the extension is used to recline the chair, the extension BANGS on the floor. So I have placed a little towel on the floor to stop that. I do not know the brand of recliner that I have as it was purchased at a flea market type place. I WILL SAY the extender does allow me to reach the handle much easier.

My wife's very comfortable recliner was difficult to recline because of the positioning of the wooded handle. This very hefty steel attachment solved that problem. It is very easy to use, making reclining a daily feature. Extremely strong and easy to grip. installation took lass than a minute. Highly recommended.

I am a short person with arthritis and a big new recliner. I have used a recliner a lot for the comfort and just got this new one which is much nicer than my old one. However, reaching the handle was very difficult. I had to raise myself up out of the seat and lean way over the arm to get the foot rest to go down with the handle. I love this new chair, so I decided to try a handle extension. The pipe-type looks stupid and not very functional so I spent a little more to try this. IT IS FANTASTIC. It has 4 bolts to hold it on and it comes with the wrench to loosen and tighten them. I installed it myself in about 5 minutes. it will adjust to varying handle sizes and is easy to adjust along the handle for your particular needs. it is padded where it contacts the handle to allow a secure application without marking the handle itself. It works perfectly and I can comfortably recline and lower the leg support on my new chair without pain or danger now. I highly recommend this for short and/or arthritic people!

Fast delivery, am very pleased with how it works. Maybe I installed further back on handle, but does not come anywhere near the floor. And so easy for me to use. Thanks again for such a great product.
