I've installed these units in small and medium conference rooms and offices for clients. This one, I finally purchased for myself. I was hoping to find the older square unit, which would have looked more at home on my disorganized desktop. But this one does the job well.The speakers are loud and improved over a handset/headset sound. The microphone is quite sensitive, so no yelling is needed. The onboard DSP improves sound quality coming AND going. And the bluetooth capabilities allow me to connect it to my phone, PC and TV (so people with hearing difficulties don't need the volume turned up to 60!)

This has been a true Godsend! The cord of my headset was forever getting caught on something and I felt that I could not move while working. Now I am free to stand, stretch and move about my office if needed and not worry about my headset cord getting caught on something. Plus my ears are much happier, too.

Have really enjoyed using this speaker. Though not perfect, it is a great alternative. It's very versatile as it will connect both wired in to your computer and over bluetooth. It's bluetooth range is very impressive as well. I tested the speaker about 15 feet from computer and was able to communicate with little to no interference. What I wasn't as impressed with was sound quality. Receiver complained of audio distortion during conference video calls. While my sound was good, there was feedback that my voice was echoey and garbled. Naturally, one call wouldn't have been so defining as alot of variables could have contributed to the poor quality, but the feedback was consistent and all the same,, from multiple callers on both wired and bluetooth connections. I use it mainly as a speaker now, and have purchased a different input device to pair it with

This is a combination array microphone and speaker designed for conference calls or for Zoom meetings.It is sensitive and picks up voices well. It has good noise cancellation to cancel out ambient noise. The sound quality is adequate at a low price point. More expensive units have better sound, but they cost more!All things considered, it is a good unit for average use. Good for conference calls and Zoom meetings.

tl;drAudio quality both speaker and mic are good. Noise cancellation seems to work well as others on call could not hear any of the background noise but could hear my voice fine. The mute button on the top is very convenient and works well. Volume controls adjusts device volume so it behaves more like a bluetooth headset than a classic conference adapter.The Good- Sound quality in both directions- Noise cancellation- Easy to pair and operate- Good battery life: only down to 40% after 9 hrs of active use which makes the 13 hr call time pretty accurate and maybe even a bit conservativeThe Bad- Nothing so farThe Ugly- well it's a bit big and boxy but not taking points off for that

I ordered the Spracht Conference Mate Pro Speaker. It is April 2, 2023. Let's see if it passes The Final Test!+) There are 6 microphones spread around the center of the device and this lends itself to pretty good voice pickup. You can hear people clearly from ~20 feet away in any direction when those people are talking at their normal volume.+) The sound that comes out of the speakers is very good too. Very clear sound and it gets pretty loud too for those larger conference rooms or offices.) Non-spoken-word noise cancellation is excellent. I used this in a scenario with a lot of mechanical background noise and none of it was transmitted through, only voice was. Unfortunately, this means if anyone in the room is having a sidebar or there are multiple conversations, they're all getting picked up by the speaker.-) The first product photo is QUITE deceiving. It looks like there's a red ring to indicate mute status or something. Well that is non-existent. See photos for actual mute status light. I would have definitely preferred that large mute ring. Also, since we're on the topic of mute, muting the microphone on the device happens independently of muting on whatever you're connected to so you may find yourself double muted. And this means that if you mute on your computer/phone, the speaker will still show as unmuted.-) This is a "pro" item, yet there's no carry case included in the package? That seems like an extreme oversight for a literal portable item that's marketed for professionals. Huge minus here.$$) For $89, I wouldn't buy this. It's a good speaker, but the lack of refinement hits a little hard here. Especially since the Poly Sync 20 is only $20 more BUT currently on sale on Amazon for $88, is much more refined, works with Teams and other conference call apps, has a built in USB cord, and has accessories included. I would definitely go for that one insteadThis item earned a C for Meeting Expectations.

It's pretty big for what I was expecting, but it works just fine, like other branded Bluetooth speakerphones. Keep in mind that this is for conference calls and not really optimized to play music. As far as conference calls go, this delivered a pretty clear sound and I received no complaints from the conference attendees.It charges via USB-C and pairs easily via Bluetooth.
