Please be sure to check the plugs to ensure they punch properly. Love this machine to be able to make beautiful journals. It is very easy to punch paper. It's heavy and sturdy. Perfect for all size journals. Was able to use right out of the packaging. Great value for the price.

I have used spiral coil binding machines for over ten years, because taking projects that need binding to the office supply stores was eating a hole in my wallet, what with binding worn-out paperback cookbooks, assembling yearly calendars for family members and making family reunion and history booklets. This Epoium Spiral Coil Binding Machine is by far the nicest and most user-friendly binding machine I have used. It is heavy-duty, and the quality of the machine justifies the price ($179.99 at time of review), especially when I use it year after year. I don’t do anything with the customizable adjustment function, but it’s nice to know that if a new kind of project comes along, I can adapt the machine to the project. The way the handle is situated makes it much easier to punch through layers of card stock, without much effort. This is a nice machine, that can be used for sizable projects… over and over and over again. I recommend it.

This spiral binding machine has been a lifesaver for me! My son's kindergarten teacher had suggested we create a “learning portfolio” of his work throughout the year, and I wanted something more substantial than just shoving papers into a folder. It handles different paper sizes with ease and the adjustable margin feature helps ensure everything is aligned perfectly. The 46 pin design is also brilliant because it allows me to punch holes for non-standard sized papers without any issues. This machine isn't just for high-volume tasks; it's fantastic for anyone who wants to add a professional touch to personally-produced documents. I was a bit worried about the noise, but it's not excessively loud. The durable construction feels solid and reliable, and the handle is comfortable to use even for larger projects. I used this product to help my son with a book project for school. It was a nice presentation, however probably not the best machine for multiple commercial booklets. It was very user friendly.

Long story short needed to make a bunch booklets and we decided spiral bound. Office max wanted a ton to make them so I picked this up, and yeah I'm glad I did. The best part though has to be the motor though, makes putting the spirals in way quicker than when I did it in elementary school without it.

You definitely have to be careful and gentle when using. But if you treat it like a delicate flower and go slowly it will work for you.
