These plugs are ideal to plug unused holes in intake manifolds, engine blocks or any location where a threaded hole is not needed. These plugs are triple chrome plated ensuring they perform as good as they look. This kit includes 2 of each in the following 4 sizes; 1/8 inch NPT, 1/4 inch NPT, 3/8 inch NPT and 1/2 inch NPT.

The plugs seem to be of great quality, but I think the chrome coating just made it a hair bigger. I couldn't get the first thread into the intake manifold. Needed three different sizes and none would thread in. The pugs were manufactured correctly. I bought Edelbrock brand plugs and those fit like a charm. Best to stick with the same brand as the intake manifold.

Bling bling chrome screws into water jackets on the block and no leaks. Adds that little pow in the spot that freshly painted Ford block needs a dab of color. I only use them like that but I am sure there are other uses. I'll buy more soon.

These are great, however, I was unable to use them. I think the measurements (1/8, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inches) actually refer to the SIZE OF THE HEX-WRENCH needed to install versus the actual diameter of the plug. My cylinder head had a 9mm (smooth-bore) hole requiring a plug. However, the "1/8-in" (3mm) plug was the only one small enough to fit. I wound up pressing-in a "freeze plug," rather than drilling & threading a wider hole in my cylinder head.

Worked like a charm! installation was simple and the finished job look factory. I highly recommend these plugs for de-smogging any vehicle. The price was good too. Don't forget the sealer before installing. Good luck with your project!!
