If you hold the Tare button you get a brief message "L-OF" and if you repeat "L-ON" and it correlates to having the lock feature.I still haven't found how to disable auto off, but getting rid of the lock made this usable for me.

Scale weighs decently, used a hand full of times in the ocean fishing than rusted badly while sitting in my waterproof overboard bag! Threw it out.

From weighing luggage to checking belt tension, I always seem to have a new use for this compact and accurate scale. The dangling hook is a bit of an annoyance as it always seems to want to turn away from wherever I need it to be.Battery life is excellent - I've had this unit for a few years and have yet to change a battery.The display is very easy to read in low light or bright sunlight.

I've taken it fishing for bass and crappe so far and they definitely are weighed perfectly. The biggest crappe ive caught yet was weighed at 2 lbs on here so Im happy with it! it is easy to use and portable, and I've had it since December and it has yet to give out or break so I think that is great. I've had a couple before that didn't last this long, so I call it a win! Good price and good product
