About this item

  • Exmor R CMOS sensor: The ZV-E10 II features Sony's most advanced sensor technology in an APS-C back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor with approximately 26 megapixels. Compared to other cameras, the image sensor of the ZV-E10 II is approximately ten times bigger than the average smartphone sensor and three times bigger than a premium 1-type (1-inch) sensor found in compact cameras, allowing for beautiful, professional-looking images with high resolution and intricate detail.
  • Interchangeable lenses to capture your vision : From the G Master series, which blends breathtaking resolution with exquisite bokeh, to the G Lens series with first-class image quality, the ZV-E10 II is compatible with a wide range of E-mount lenses from Sony. The ZV-E10 II lens kit comes with the versatile E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II zoom lens.
  • Create your look in camera: The Creative Look function makes it simple to create expressive moods for stills and movies in-camera, offering 10 presets that can be used as they are or customized. Try the My Image Style function for further expressive versatility. When shooting in the Intelligent Auto or Scene Selection mode, it allows the background bokeh, brightness, and color tone to be easily adjusted via icons on the touch screen.
  • Precise subject tracking with Real-time Eye AF: Real-time Eye AF recognizes—with high precision—the faces and eyes of humans, as well as the eyes of animals and birds, for consistently accurate and reliable focus. Real-time Tracking ensures that focus is maintained on the subject as it moves around in the frame.
  • Capture those fleeting moments: With up to 60 fps in 4K and 120 fps capture in Full HD, you can record stunning motion sequences using the S&Q mode at 5x slow motion (HD 24p playback). Time-lapse sequences can be created in-camera and the exposure interval can be set from 1 second to 60 seconds . Continuous still shooting with the camera's electronic shutter is possible at up to 11 fps with full AF/AE tracking.

The ZV-E10 II features a 26-megapixel1 APS-C back-illuminated Exmor R™ CMOS image sensor, wide selection of interchangeable lenses, advanced audio and features for content creators, like Creative Looks and Cinematic Vlog setting to enhance creative expression. Intuitive touch operation and flip-out vari-angle LCD with rotating UI makes shooting both horizontal and vertical video a breeze.

For $1100 you’d expect a usbc and flash, at the very least. I love the camera but having to buy these little things that are sure to get lost is so annoying to me and makes me want to return it. Why sell a problem.

over heat problems, you will definetly not able to record in 4k 60fps. your iphone se 3rd generation can do so for hours but not this camera if you want to record for longer session try 4k 24fps but your camera will be hot. sony also does not provide usb charging cable. or adapter. or battery charger. you must buy separately with overpriced tag. its not even because its good for enviroment. they save millions of $$$ for not suppling it. if they care for enviroment they would shut down their company period.! what a joke.

Really solid vlogging camera with overheating issue. I record videos mostly in my house or car and it will overheat and ask to be shut off after like 5-10 minutes of continuous recording at 4k which is troubling. Also I don’t like that it always does a lens check when powered on and you need to leave the lens cap on for a few seconds.Otherwise, it records good quality video and focus is pretty good too!

It’s not perfect but for the money it’s absolutely 5 stars. Get some quality lenses and you’ll have a great experience.

Great except the following:- Wish that the mic input and usb-c weren't so flimsy, behind a flimsy door (why does nobody make a multi-interface hot shoe mic input?).- Overheats after 15 mins of video on 60fps XAVC-HS - why on earth is there no 30fps option on this format!?- Constant disconnections on remote shooting from iPhone. Extremely buggy and unreliable.- Why no way to wirelessly download media to computer when you support doing that to phones?!

This camera really is top tier. I love how small this thing is and that it comes with the 16-50mm lens. It really is a content creators dream with the front facing screen and the high quality mic that is built in. I love how portable this guy is and can't wait to shoot more videos with it. Also works really well as a webcam.

I am not even sure where to start with this camera or what information would be most useful, so I’ll try to keep this short and to the point. There are only 3 negatives I see, 2 of them are the lack of included useful instructions and the lack of a usb-c cable which is needed for charging the battery, at the very least. The lack of instructions is likely not an issue for those familiar with Sony’s menu layouts and terminology for specific features. With the internet being the primary source of full manuals and tutorials these days, this is easily a non-issue for many people, though I thought it was worth a mention. The lack of a usb-c cable in today’s world where everything comes with a usb-c cable, you will either have one (or 10,000)of them lying around or you won’t have one to spare.Since usb-c cables can be sourced easily, even from many grocery stores, this shouldn’t prove to be much of a task, still it is an extra step if you’re one of the few without a spare. The 3rd negative, which for some won’t matter, but it is absolutely the biggest negative any way you slice it: no IBIS! In Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) just means there is hardware built into the camera to help stabilize handheld video, which this camera doesn’t have. This isn’t a huge deal if the lens has stabilization (the lens that comes in this kit does) but if the lens doesn’t, you’ll likely need to turn on the software stabilization, which does a great job, with one major drawback; image cropping. When stabilization is turned on it crops the frame by about 1.4x, couple that with 4k video at 60 frames per second which slightly crops things and you’re around 1.5 times of image cropping, which is a whole lot in the grand scheme of things. This won’t be a problem if you plan on using a tripod or a gimbal like I do. Still, this can be a make or break factor for some so I thought it was a necessary inclusion. With the only negatives I could find out of the way, let's talk about image quality: it’s actually great! Still image or video, the quality is absolutely great, though I will say the video seems to be why you’d likely want the Alpha ZVE-II, but still images are good in their own right. I say the video is likely why you’d want this camera because it seems to me, all of the camera's cooler features, like the cinematic vlog feature and the 3 built-in microphones are video oriented. It even has a product showcase mode which automatically racks the focus when you hold an object up to the camera and focuses perfectly on it until you remove it, which then focuses back on your face/original subject. One of my favorite features is the cinematic mode which automatically switches the aspect ratio to 1.85:1 and the frame rate down to 24 fps. There are plenty of format options and settings for color grading if that’s your thing as well. The screen is movable and articulates to just about any useful angle, plus it’s fully touch screen! The info on the screen actually changes orientation when you orient the camera into portrait mode, which is something that I’ve wanted forever and now, it’s available! There are many features and settings that I have yet to learn how to use, but so far, everything I have learned about has given me ideas on how to implement it, as well as inspiration. I can definitely recommend this camera, and although the overall trend of camera pricing is definitely increasing, the Alpha ZVE-II is one that’s actually worth the price, as you’d be out of luck if you were to look for any brand new entry level camera with this many features.
