I was amazed at how rapidly it heated up to temperature. The digital readout and adjustable temp feature are great! I highly recommend this tool for just about any soldering task.

Nothing to complain. It works well. I used it for soldering wiring in a car and a motorcycle. Well worth the price.

My Weller quit and I didn't want to spend a lot on a new iron so I bought this cheap unit.I'm happy with its performance just as it is and it's costs pennies compared to the top brands.

Works great. Love the higher wattage for a fine point iron. The readout and adjustable temp are great features. Super price - hope it lasts

This is an awesome soldering iron. The first I've owned with a digital readout of the tip temperature which, in degrees, is adjustable up or down. It doesn't take long for the device to heat up and is ready in no time. Accessories aren't the greatest but comes with a descent flex tub and very thin soldering wire. Good value for the money

Nice iron or welder as the manual states. Had one just like it at 80W that lasted about 10 uses then gave up the ghost. Kits nice but solder is junk non rosin core type.So far it heats ups.

This makes it into the category of "nice surprise." I've long ago lowered expectations for inexpensive products like this made in China, but this one -- at least so far -- is a standout: It actually works as advertised.I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the temperature readout because I have no easy way to test that. Nor can I tell you with certainty that this soldering pen delivers the claimed range of temperatures. For me these details are unimportant because this product gets the job done on projects that cannot be brought to my workbench. Having wasted time and money on battery- and butane-powered portable soldering irons, I'm happy to have a working solution to my remote soldering needs. Yeah, this thing needs to be not too far from an AC outlet, but so what. I can do things I haven't been able to do reliably with the aforementioned portable irons: say, tin 16 ga. wire. More than enough BTUs to do that, and no waiting around forever for the tip to heat up. For my needs, being tethered via a power cord is not a big problem, and I'm more than OK with the tradeoff. The kit is fine. Didn't need the mini-spool of solder nor the paste. The super-basic stand works and is one of those non-essential things that are still nice to have. And the tweezers are like an enema -- you can always use another one. The selection of interchangeable tips, however, are a plus, although I'll probably just use the small blade tip 90 percent of the time.My only complaint is minor: the legend on the buttons are invisible -- I'm not even sure they're there. Not a big problem. There are only three buttons and, even though the tiny instruction manual with a few pages written in an English-like language doesn't identify which one is which, you'll quickly figure it out.I won't be putting this product to heavy use, so durability and long-term reliability remain question marks. Still, the thing seems to be reasonably well made, and I'm hoping for the best. I'll update this review as appropriate.

This little thing is great. The digital display is handy to regulate the heat output depending on what you are working with. The accessories are a plus in regards to exchanging tips. I withheld one star as there is no carry case or ability to secure the soldering kit other that the cardboard box it came in. Besides that, it's been used approx 5-7 times with no issues. Hopefully, it will last.
