📪Tired of your mailbox post getting repeatedly destroyed by snow pushed by snowplows?
You don't need an ugly teepee over your mailbox or a unpleasant looking wood fence to protect it.
Sno-flex is well-built with heavy duty cables and hardware and installs in 15 minutes. It will absorb the energy of blown snow. A stiff post has no chance and will bend or even shatters. Replacing a broken post in cold and snow is not enjoyable.
📪 US Patent 10,098,490. Canadian Patent 2,994,458. Proudly made and assembled in the USA!
📪 **IMPORTANT** PLEASE FOLLOW INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. Install device as high at the top of post, install all 5 cables provided, and finish project by installing a standard PLASTIC MAILBOX and its mounting board. Plastic mailboxes are strong, light, inexpensive, won't rust or dent. No other accessories. The intent is to preserve post. In cases where device is bent and damaged is because it was installed in middle or at base of post with heavy metal mailbox which created tremendous weight in addition to plowed snow. Unfortunately were unsuccessful in connecting to correct those cases
📪 For 4x4 wooden posts. Hollow plastic 4x4 posts will require blocking. It is not suited for All-In-One Mailbox & Post Combo.
NOTE TO INSTALLERS (Typo Correction in Installation Instructions): Please use 3/16" drill bit for pilot holes.

Given the season, my unit has not been tested. However, buyers should know that the instructions tell you to drill a pilot hole of 3/8" in diameter. This is NOT the correct size for a pilot hole! The lag bolts are 3/8"!

Every year, I replace my mailbox and repair the post. Usually, the arm gets knocked off. I've tried bolting 2x4's on either side. This year, the plow took the post off at the base, and I had to replace the whole thing. I came across the Snow Flex mailbox spring and had to try it. It was very easy to mount, just make sure you take enough off the new post to make up for the length of the spring. It works perfectly!

I live on a highway and it’s been working well; however the plow did break it during a very wet and heavy snow, 24”. The seller was very responsive and is shipping a replacement item.

Product is not indestructible, heavy snow snapped the spring this past week.

Terrible product...Not worth the price!! I bought this item for the snowy winters of north eastern Ma. I enjoyed the product for about one year when it broke suddenly... on a warm, late summer day. When I contacted the company, they said I installed it incorrectly and that my standard post and small mailbox forced it to break... UMMM I thought it was heavy duty???

Very sturdy - we’ll see how well it works when the snow plows get busy.

Got tired of replacing my post and I refuse to place a barrier fence next to it, so I decided to purchase snoflex. I figured if anything it will help. The unit is well-built. Rugged cables and hardware. Easy to install (There is an error in instructions regarding drill bit size for pilot holes, I used 1/4" bit). Worked very well against snow last week. So far so good. Highly recommended!

I bought a Sno-flex after looking at several different options for ways to keep my mailbox from getting destroyed every winter. I was looking for something permanent that I would not have to replace or take down and put back up year after year. Out of everything I found, this seemed to be by far the simplest and most practical design.I ordered it directly from Sno-flex as it was not yet available on Amazon. I received it the very next day after it shipped and was immediately impressed by the quality and how solid it seemed. Installation was easy until it came to drilling the 3/8” pilot holes as the instructions state. After drilling 2 of the holes, I quickly found out that 3/8” is too big for the lag screws that come with it. I ended up having to get 5” bolts to go all the way through from one side to the other and secured them with locknuts. For all the other holes I used a 1/4” bit and the lags held nice and tight so I’m sure this was just a typo in the instructions.Once installed, I noticed the top half of my post with the mailbox on it sagged slightly towards the street. I emailed Sno-flex and received a phone call from them the very next day. Matt from Sno-flex came out to my house to look at it and it turns out the metal mailbox I was using was too big. Although it only weighed 9lbs, Sno-flex is designed to be used with standard size plastic mailboxes only. The Sno-flex itself was also twisted slightly and Matt swapped it out for me on the spot with no questions asked. I swapped out the mailbox for a standard size plastic box which weighs 4lbs and the sag is gone with my post back to vertical. As I stated above, I am very pleased at how well constructed and sturdy this thing is. Although it has not been through any really heavy snow storms as of yet, I am really curious as to how well it will hold up. Based on first impressions I would suspect very well and if there are any issues, Matt and the people at Sno-flex are very responsive and customer friendly so I’m sure I won’t have any problems!
