While I have security cameras outside the house, this provides another layer to monitor inside.Great for travel like in a hotel room as protection when you are out.Your choice of positioning it is limited to areas where there is an outlet, so for higher level of spying you'll need one disguised as some simple room decoration, running on batteries.

This camera works nice. It records AVI files that are not very big compared to their length. That alsoMeans the quality isn’t 4k UHD, but it’s not horrible either. It’s probably somewhere between a DVD and a Blu Rays video quality. As soon as you plug it in it’s starts working, you need to have a micro sd card to save the videos to. It’s very easy to use. When it’s dark the video looks the same but just doesn’t have color,The camera is visible. If someone is around it enough they may notice, so it’s probably not the best device if you are trying to catch your wife cheating. A burglar or a shoplifter wouldn’t notice it. It looks like a regular charging box. It would work great for security, but not spying. The charging box is worth the price.

This hidden camera is very easy to use,simply insert my own Micro SD Card into the camera, plug it, it will start recording HD videos for me.
