This is a great case for my iPhone. It gives me an attachment where I can hold the phone a little bit more stable above my head. If it's nicely in my hand and works great!

This case is good for having a handle which to hold the phone while taking pictures or video. Recommended for utility.

I like this kit, but also a lot of room for improvement. I’ve used the previous SmallRig iPhone cages and they were far better than this plastic kit. Your phone provides most of the stability, but the plastic case doesn’t hold very tightly to the phone. The kit should ship with the 17mm threaded adapters. The threaded adapter also keeps the optics a lot further for the iPhone lens than previous cage which I don’t like because I want no extra space.Once the hand hold is on the case it will hold the phone better, but the lock release for that accessory is on the bottom and you can barely detach your phone once you have attached to a tripod.Even with all issues above I bought two of these kits so that I can transfer the same phone between different tripods.

A phone cage kit that adds stability during filming sessions. The grip sits comfortably, reducing shaky shots. Mounting lenses or filters is possible, expanding creative options. Initially, switching backplates took careful handling, and a bit of trial was needed before getting it right. Once set, capturing steady video clips feels simpler, and the device no longer wobbles at small movements. A decent solution for mobile creators who desire more refined output. The protective frame adds confidence when moving around crowded environments. Not flawless due to mild complexity in configuration, but after learning the basics, it enhances filming quality without carrying heavier gear.

As a grip, I really like the bottom attachment to keep the camera steady while videoing. However, having somewhat smaller hands, I cannot reach from the grip to the camera controls on my 16 Pro. It actually gets in the way quite a bit. My husband has very long fingers and can use the controls, but he didn’t find it all that comfortable.The case itself is a little thin. It’s nice that it’s not bulky, but I’m unsure of the actual protection it would provide if the phone dropped. It’s really just a way to attach all the cool SmallRig accessories to the phone. I do LOVE that I can mount the phone to a tripod with this, but obviously you're stuck with only a vertical shot.I also wish it came with at least one camera filter for the filter holder so that this was a more complete set. Otherwise you're just getting a grip and a holder for filters you have to buy separately.

Desde hace unos días estoy con esta funda en el iPhone 16 Pro y, la verdad, me está dando buenas sensaciones. Como en todo lo de Smallrig, se nota que han cuidado los detalles, empezando por la presentación. La caja y el embalaje transmiten calidad desde el primer momento. Lo que más me ha gustado es lo bien que se adapta al teléfono. Encaja a la perfección y los botones siguen funcionando con total normalidad. Además, el material de silicona se nota agradable al tacto y apenas añade volumen al teléfono, lo que se agradece para el día a día en caso de que no se quiera quitar. El agarre extra que proporciona el CapGrip en la parte inferior es un acierto total y absoluto, sobre todo para hacer fotos o vídeos con una sola mano ya que el agarre es mucho más seguro y estable. También me parece muy práctico el sistema de liberación rápida para la placa posterior de la lente que permite cambiar entre diferentes accesorios de forma sencilla y sin complicaciones.La compatibilidad con lentes y filtros de montaje en T abre un mundo de posibilidades. Además, la funda es compatible con MagSafe, lo que significa que puedo seguir usando la carga inalámbrica sin problemas. Otro detalle que me ha gustado es la protección que da para la pantalla y la lente con los bordes elevados que hacen que te sientas más tranquilo cuando dejas el teléfono sobre una superficie.Si tuviera que ponerle alguna pega, quizás diría que el CapGrip, aunque es muy útil, a veces puede resultar un poco aparatoso si lo llevas en el bolsillo. Pero bueno, es un mal menor teniendo en cuenta las ventajas que ofrece.

I bought this along with a 125$ 67mm smallrig filter kit. Upon arrival I still need to buy another piece I guess to connect the filters to this product. So confusing. I’m just gonna return them both. So aggravating.Also the grip handle is practically useless. Unless you have ET length fingers, this makes the already weirdly placed camera control button even worse.
