It was an easy install once I found a clear pathway through the trees. Handles lots of weight and has done well for over a year now.

Fairly simple to install, kit is well made, For additional safety don’t forget to purchase the spring brake that slides on to the cable.

Nice product, however instructions were quite unclear. Luckily I followed an online video that was explaining how to install it.

Unfortunately most of trees in my yard where too big but I was lucky enough to find two at about a 60' distance that would work. The instructions where very detailed and my husband was able to securely set this up for our kids. One thing to know is that the safety height is 10' up for a 70' zipline. I originally wanted it 15' up but I would rather secure and safe then sorry. Also make sure when strapping on trees that you form that 'teardrop' shape. Tree straps are nice to have if you want to protect your trees and a tree stand ladder is a plus so that the kids can reach up. I also went ahead and ordered a Slackers Bungeez Block Brake Kit to cushion the landing. Overall great way to incorporate exercise for the kids and keep the kids outdoors longer. They love it and think it's the coolest thing ever. Now all their friends want to come over to check it out. I also like that you can put a good amount of weight in it so the adults get to use it too.

Bought this for my son for his 10th birthday and although it did take my husband a little longer to put out then we originally thought it was because we changed our plans and location for this. We were originally going to have it coming from our treehouse but later decided to string it from two trees. My husband is very focused in detail oriented so I did take him most of Saturday to get this up. However the instructions were very clear and easily understandable the product itself is great and we have had a lot of fun in our backyard with it! Shipping was fast and we would definitely buy this again it holds up even to my husband he's over 200 pounds. We did not purchase a brake for it so one of the adult has to stand at the end to make sure the children don't go smacking into the tree. Great product at a great price I've seen this in stores for much more money If you feel like this review has help you in anyway please click the button below :). Thank you for reading and happy shopping !

Bought it for my son's 6 birthday and we had a blast. The installation is easy, me and my husband did it following the you tube instructional video. The hard part is trying to find the best angle for the zipline. For my kids, ages 6 & 4, you don't need much inclination. Also, before instaling the cable.to the tree I used a car rug and about 4 pieces of wood. They must be inserted before tightening the steel cable. Now the big issue was braking. We put a noodle with duct tape at the end but braking was too sudden and I found it was too agressive for kids so I kept the noodle and added the slackers brake that I bought for about 26$ here. It came with a bag but I found a tree to tie the bungee cord and it made the braking experience much better. The zipline was amazing and worked for kids from 4 years old to even a few adults who had a good time. Loved it.

The zip line works great. But be aware that the line is 1/4'', not 3/8" thick. Also, make sure to you-tube how to put up a zip line and watch a video on the proper way to wrap the line around trees without cutting into them. I used 3 short pieces of 1x4 wood screwed to 1st tree, wrapped the short cable around the tree and boards, and with the turnbuckle that was provided I attached the 70' line to the short cable. I then made a loop at the other end of the cable using the three cable clamps, also provided. I was about 12' short of the 2nd tree but I had some extra 3/8" cable that I made loops in on both ends with extra clamps I had and then attached that short cable to the end of the 70' line and the other end of 3/8" cable to a hefty chain I had wrapped around tree #2. According to a video I saw, it said both methods work very well and neither will allow cable to cut into the tree. It's true. Both methods worked great, as I just wanted to try each. You can buy any extra cables, clamps, wood, chain, and turnbuckles at Home Depot. Now, it takes at least two adults to pull the line tight enough to get it attached to chain on tree #2. I then just tightened the turnbuckle some to take out some of the slack. I purposely left a belly in the middle of my zip line, so that my young grandkids can just scrape the ground with their feet if they don't pick them up a little, and I put the chain about 1.5 ' lower than the starting line attached to the cable at tree #1. This seems to be just about perfect for the speed and safety I was looking for. It goes plenty fast enough for them. And be careful on the ladders as they have a tendency to tip when trying to stretch the line. I didn't need a cum-a-long winch, but if the line was 100' or so, I'm sure that would've been needed. Just google that as well, if you have questions on how to pull the line with that method. Also, with the extra short cable at tree #2, our zip line stops well short of the tree when the trolley abruptly hits the cable clamps at end of the 70' line. This can be fun for the older children but it can be a bit much for the younger ones so I'm installing a bungee brake. this can be purchased online as well. Again, just watch a video on how to install it too.
